Lilith's POV

I feel the trespassing human cross over from Damian's land to our own the very second it happens. Theo's alpha abilities have slowly been sharing themselves with Khai and me, and they are becoming stronger by the day.

It's a weird feeling. A sudden pit in the very bottom of my stomach and the most immense urge to protect those living in the surrounding land almost overwhelming me to the point I want to cry.

The three of us mind-link one another, planning on halting the person out by the borders to protect the pack members.

Khai agrees to run in Obsidian's form from the east and Theo runs here from the centre, and finally, Lucas comes from his house out on the western borders.

Our bond is strengthening by the day, and our ability to run this pack together — the three of us in harmony is something to behold.

I never saw myself ruling anyone, but the thought of standing beside Theo, making sure his pack members are well and safe, gives me some type of thrill I never expect
