Chapter Four Hundred and Twenty Two

Lilith’s POV

My mind reels as I note a premonition in its making yet I had ignored a crucial and evident warning within it.

Why do I do that? And how many things have I missed in my life because of my apparent blindness?

Upset I try to ignore the images that move within my mind, a shift in point of view as I yo-yo back and forth between Theo’s and Khai’s memory of that night.

And again, I wonder what all this means, what importance remembering my life has for Abyss and more importantly me.

So without much choice I sit back and relive that day in Theo’s memories first, watching as avidly as I can, hoping not to miss anything.

The run with nothing less than exhilarating.
