Chapter Eighty Four

"Papa, uuwi ka pa po? Pwede po bang dito ka nalang matulog, please?"

Esie in her gentle innocent eyes asked her father.

Dylan, beside the bed silently darted his eyes on her as if nasa kanya ang sagot.

"Matagal ka pong hindi pumunta sa ospital. Namimiss ka namin ni kuya Eisier. So can you please stay with us tonight.?"

"Hmp! Ikaw lang Esie. I don't!" Eisier smirked. "And I won't miss him even if he'll leave now and never comes back."

Iwas ang mga matang dugtong nito. But despite of the words he blurted, alam niyang hindi iyon ang tunay na nararamdaman nito. Halatang-halata niya sa kilos at sa kislap ng mga mata nito. Hindi lang nito maamin.

Siguro dahil gusto nitong protektahan ang damdamin sakaling hindi tuparin ni Dylan ang pangako nito at iwan muli sila balang araw.

"Kuya... You promised that you won't get mad at him anymore if he'll just stays. And I am doing my best to make him stay. Why you are like this to him? It's rude you know..."
