Hunter’s POV

I leaned back in my chair, staring blankly at the wall, replaying the events from a few days ago. The memories swirled in my head, sharp and relentless, tugging at me in ways I couldn’t shake off.

It had all started with Mabel. She’d called us out of nowhere, panic lacing her voice.

“Hunter, you need to get to the mall right now,” she’d said. “Loraine’s there, and she doesn’t have enough warriors with her.”

The urgency In her tone had sent a jolt through me. “Why is she at the mall without protection?” I’d demanded, already motioning for Kris, Killian, and Preston to follow me.

“I don’t know!” Mabel had snapped. “Just hurry!”

We hadn’t wasted a second. The thought of Loraine being vulnerable—alone—was unbearable. When we got to the mall, what we saw made my blood boil.

Gordon.

Her ex.

Begging her to come back to him like some pathetic excuse for a man.

I could still see the look on his face, the desperation in his eyes, and the way he reached out to her like he

Loraine’s POV I stared at my phone for a long moment before finally dialing Chloe’s number. She picked up after the third ring, and thank the goddess, her bright voice immediately lifted my spirits. “Loraine! What’s up?” “Hey,” I said, trying to keep my voice casual. “I was wondering if you and Sasha were free today. I could use some company.” Chloe hesitated for only a second. “Of course! Let me check with Sasha, but I’m pretty sure she’s free. Are you okay, though? You sound a little…off.” I forced a laugh. “I’m fine, really. Just bored. It’s been a while since we all hung out.” “Well, in that case, consider it a date. We’ll be there in an hour!” “Thanks, Chloe. I owe you.” “You owe me coffee,” she teased before hanging up. I exhaled, feeling a small weight lift from my chest. Having my friends around would be a good distraction. Maybe it would help me feel normal again. When Chloe and Sasha arrived, Mabel and I were already in the kitchen preparing snacks. Mabel had insi

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Mabel’s Truth

Mabel’s POV The room was quiet except for the muffled ticking of the clock on the wall. I sat at my vanity, staring at my reflection. It was a little past 5 am. My hair was neatly curled, my makeup flawless, but my lips twisted into a smirk that betrayed the thoughts dancing in my head. A cruel laugh escaped me, echoing through the empty room. It wasn’t the first time I’d laughed like this, but it was the first time it felt so ahh… satisfying. I leaned back in my chair, folding my arms, as I let my mind wander back to just yesterday. How much effort it had taken for me to fake those tears. Oh, how I’d sniffled and sobbed, trembling just enough to make the boys believe I was truly sorry for all I did in the past. I almost laughed again. They had no idea. Not a single clue. “God, they’re so predictable,” I muttered to myself, shaking my head. “A few crocodile tears, and they’re eating out of the palm of my hand.” But it hadn’t always been that easy. I leaned forward, resting my e

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Loraine’s Confession

Loraine’s POV The soft hum of the afternoon breeze fluttered through the open windows of the manor, and it carried with it the scents of pine and wildflowers. But the beauty outside felt distant, overshadowed by the weight in my chest. I sat at the table in my room, staring at the neatly folded invitations in front of me I’d hurt them. Each of them. Preston, with his quiet strength and practically unshakeable loyalty. Kris, who always saw the best in me even when I didn’t deserve it. Hunter, my fearless protector with a heart of gold. And Killian, the one who never hesitated to call me out but still stood by me no matter what. They’d all been there for me, loving me in ways I never thought possible. And I… I had kept secrets. I thought I was protecting them, making their lives better, but instead, I pushed them away. No more. I picked up my pen and wrote the last name on the final invitation: Killian. With a sigh, I sealed the envelope and placed it with the others. Tonight w

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Claiming

Loraine’s POV “So what now?” Kris asked. “If you can’t choose between us, what do we do now?’ The room felt charged with tension as I stood in front of them. Killian, Preston, Kris, and Hunter were staring at me, their expressions unreadable, but their presence overwhelming. Kris’s question was valid. What did I want the boys to do now that I had put them in such a difficult position by not choosing, I knew what I wanted, but it sounded so selfish that I decided not to say it. I would say something else. I couldn’t quite meet their eyes as I spoke, my voice barely above a whisper. “If you want…” I hesitated, my throat tightening. “If you want someone else, I understand. Maybe I’m not enough for any of you. Maybe I’m too much. You deserve—” “You stop that right now,” Killian’s voice cut through my rambling. His tone was firm, his green eyes narrowing as he stepped closer. “You don’t get to decide what we deserve, Loraine.” “You’re the only one we want,” Preston added, his deep

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Claimed

Loraine’s POV The next morning, I stirred awake. My body was so pleasantly sore from the night before. The memories of their touches and whispered promises flooding back in waves. A postcoital sigh escaped my lips as I blinked, turning my head to find Killian lying beside me; his beautiful sharp features were softened by sleep. Kris was curled around me protectively, his arm draped over my waist, while Preston’s hand rested on my shoulder. Hunter, ever vigilant, was already awake, his intense gaze fixed on me. “Good morning, beautiful,” Hunter said, his voice low and gravelly. He leaned down, pressing a kiss to my temple, and my heart fluttered at the gentleness of the gesture. “Morning,” I whispered, my voice still thick with sleep. Killian stirred, stretching like a wolf waking from a nap. His eyes, full of warmth and mischief, landed on me. “Someone’s glowing this morning,” he teased, his lips curving into a grin. “Well, I wonder whose fault that is,” I shot back, my tone

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Luna to be

Loraine’s POV The day was perfect. Killian, Kris, Preston, and Hunter had planned everything down to the last detail. From a serene boat ride on the crystal-clear lake to a playful lunch at an outdoor café where they bickered over who would feed me first, every moment felt like a dream. They showed me how much better life was with all four of them in it, constantly reminding me that I deserved this happiness. “I’m telling you, Loraine,” Killian said as we strolled through the market square, his arm draped over my shoulders. “Four mates are better than two any day.” Kris chuckled, walking on my other side and holding my hand. “Killian’s just trying to sell himself. Let’s not forget I’m the fun one.” Preston, carrying a bag of souvenirs they insisted on buying for me, rolled his eyes. “You’re fun until you open your mouth.” “Oh fuck you!” “Don’t start, Preston,” Kris warned, though his grin betrayed his amusement. Hunter trailed slightly behind us, his piercing eyes watching me.

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Beholden

Loraine’s POV Waking up in Hunter’s room— Sorry—our room now felt surreal. The warmth of the four men surrounding me was overwhelming but comforting. Hunter’s arm was slung over my waist, his face buried in the crook of my neck. Preston was curled against my back, his fingers resting lightly on my hip. Killian and Kris lay sprawled on either side, their breathing deep and steady. I hadn’t thought it would be possible to share a bed with all four of them, but somehow, it worked. Their presence was grounding, and the ache of being alone for so many years seemed to fade overnight. The morning light shimmered in through the curtains, bathing the room in a giddy glow. I shifted slightly, trying not to wake anyone, but as if they had a sixth sense for me moving away, Hunter groaned softly. “Morning already?” He mumbled, his lips brushing against my shoulder. “Barely,” I whispered, running a hand through his messy hair. “Good,” Preston murmured sleepily from behind me. “It me

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Jealousy

Loraine’s POV After the disastrous scene in the dining room earlier, I knew I had to make things right. It wasn’t just about the boys chastising me or Mabel’s dramatic tears—it was about doing what was right. So, with my pride swallowed and nerves bundled tightly in my stomach, I found myself standing outside Mabel’s room. I took a deep breath and knocked. “Come in,” Mabel called softly, her voice full of hesitation. I pushed the door open to find her sitting on the bed, her eyes puffy from earlier. The sight of her made guilt gnaw at me again. “Mabel,” I started, stepping closer. “I came to apologize. I shouldn’t have snapped at you earlier. It was uncalled for.” Her lips parted in surprise, but then she offered me a small, gracious smile. “Oh, Loraine, you don’t need to apologize. I understand. You’ve been under so much stress lately—planning the wedding, managing the pack, juggling… well, everything.” I nodded slowly, grateful that she was letting me off the hook so easily.

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Gordon’s Ally

Mabel’s POV My uncle’s voice echoed in my head, sharp and unforgiving. “You’re not doing enough, Mabel.” It wasn’t just a criticism—it was an accusation, a reminder that failure wasn’t an option. My fists clenched as I paced my room. I had done everything he’d asked. What more could he want? “I’ve been working tirelessly,” I muttered under my breath, trying to push his biting words aside. But his response had been just as infuriating. “If you were doing enough, we wouldn’t still be having this problem, would we?” My uncle and I had been working together for a long time now. And I thought he would understand where I was coming from by now. The nerve. The absolute fucking nerve. Did he think sabotaging Loraine and breaking down those overly possessive alphas was freaking easy? Since I came, I had done my best to make sure Loraine was away from the boys, but nothing I did allowed them near me. They always stayed away from me no matter what I did, no matter how many stunts I pull

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Truth about parents

Loraine’s POV Gordon’s words haunted me. “I know where your real parents are.” That fucking asshole! I had spent the entire night replaying that moment over and over in my head, convincing myself it was a lie. Gordon was a manipulator, someone who thrived on creating chaos and pain. Surely, this was just another attempt to mess with me. But then there was that small, traitorous part of me—the part that whispered, What if he’s telling the truth? The thought made my stomach twist. I tried to push it away, but it kept creeping back. My parents—the ones who raised me—were loving and kind. They had given me everything, taught me everything, made me who I am today. They’re my parents, I told myself firmly. They have to be. Still, doubt ate at me. The day started as any other—me waking up to the sounds of my mates already busy in the kitchen. I forced a smile, determined to focus on them instead of Gordon. My mates needed me, and I needed to shake off these dark thoughts. Walking i

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Another Revelation

Loraine’s POV The day after, Prince Gideon updated us on everything. The house was quiet—too quiet. That usually meant trouble, especially when all four of my mates were involved. I wandered through the halls, half-expecting to stumble upon chaos, but instead, I found myself piecing together just how hard they had been working behind the scenes to protect me. Kris had left early that morning, his usual calm demeanor masking the tension I knew he felt. Hunter had spent the night pacing the halls, muttering something about rogue sightings, while Preston and Killian had been in and out of the office, trying to keep the rest of the pack on high alert. I sighed, leaning against the kitchen counter as I prepared breakfast for them. The sight of the empty table tugged at my heart. They’d been stretched thin lately, all because of me. I never meant for my life to bring so much drama into theirs. “They deserve better,” I whispered to myself. But even as the thought crossed my mind, ano

  • Fated to Four Brothers    A Brother’s Bond

Killian’s POV The morning was chaotic, as usual, in our kitchen. Loraine had been up early to make breakfast for everyone—a sweet thank-you for all the support we’d been giving her lately. But between Preston stealing food off everyone’s plates and Hunter barking orders about the day’s plans, the kitchen was less of a peaceful sanctuary and more of a battlefield. I leaned against the counter, sipping coffee, and watched the madness unfold. “Preston, I swear if you touch my bacon again—” Hunter growled, but Preston just grinned and popped the strip into his mouth. Loraine laughed from her spot by the stove, shaking her head at them. “You’re all worse than children.” In the middle of it all, Kris sat at the far end of the table, quietly eating his eggs like the chaos didn’t even touch him. He looked calm, almost serene, but I knew better. I’d watched him long enough to know that Kris’s calm exterior was a mask. He was always the most composed of us—our resident peacemaker—but when

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Her Guardian

Kris’s POV The house was still quiet when I walked into the kitchen, the faint scent of breakfast lingering in the air from earlier. The other guys were scattered throughout the manor—Hunter poring over reports in his office, Killian likely plotting strategies, and Preston… probably trying to charm Loraine into sneaking off somewhere for a private moment. And Loraine? My Luna? Well, she was upstairs, reading. Her soft laughter had floated down earlier when Preston said something ridiculous. I leaned against the counter, pouring myself a cup of coffee, and let myself enjoy the moment. We were finally finding balance. I never thought it would work, sharing her after how Mabel played us against each other in the past. We had decided that it’s not in a wolf’s nature to share his mate, so we vowed not to… but somehow, it worked for us again. The bond we all had with her was not at all like the corrupted bond we had with Mabel before; this one felt right—natural, even. We could have h

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Conniving Bitch

Mabel’s POV The chill of the night bit at my skin as I slipped out of my borrowed room in the brothers’ sprawling manor. The house was silent, save for the soft creaks of the old floors under my feet. Wrapping my coat tighter around myself, I stepped into the waiting car, its sleek black interior swallowing me whole. “Where to, Miss Mabel?” the driver asked, his voice even, unbothered by the lateness of the hour. “Elder Arnold’s estate,” I said sharply, avoiding his gaze. “He said grandmother needed to see me this night.” I lied unnecessarily. This was the fucking driver who could never dare to hurt or even expose me, but something in me just enjoyed telling these lies to make everyone pity me. I didn’t even have a grandmother! She died before I met her, but I didn’t care; I just enjoyed my stories. The car rolled into motion, and I leaned back against the seat, trying to steady my thoughts. My uncle’s summons had been brief and cryptic, but I knew what it was about. It was al

  • Fated to Four Brothers    More Investigations

Loraine’s POV The smell of the morning air wafted through the slightly cracked window as sunlight peeked into the room. I woke up feeling warm, safe, and entirely surrounded by love. Fuck! This was the life I was supposed to live. Thank the goddess for giving me this. The boys were still fast asleep, their steady breaths filling the room. Killian’s arm was draped lazily over my waist, and Preston was nestled close, his hand barely brushing mine. Kris and Hunter sprawled out on either side, peaceful and unguarded. They were perfect and all mine. I smiled, my heart swelling with gratitude. After everything yesterday, they had gone out of their way to make me feel cherished. The least I could do was return the favor. Quietly, I slipped out of bed, careful not to wake them, and tiptoed out of the room. The kitchen was my destination, but halfway there, I nearly ran into someone. Mabel. Ah shit! Guess the world won’t be all roses and sunshine today. She was standing in the hall

  • Fated to Four Brothers    The Boys Treat

Loraine’s POV After the court, we arrived at a quaint little ice cream parlor just outside of town. The building was painted in cheerful pastel colors, with string lights glowing warmly in the windows. It was the kind of place I’d never thought I’d find myself in with four powerful, intimidating Alphas like mine. Yet here we were, stepping inside like a normal group out for a treat. Kris held the door open for me, grinning. “After the day you’ve had, you deserve something sweet.” “I’d say she deserves everything sweet for being a sweetheart,” Preston chimed in, his voice teasing as he placed a hand on the small of my back to guide me inside. I laughed softly, feeling the tension from the day slowly melting away. “Ice cream is a good start, though.” Hunter leaned over the counter, scanning the long list of flavors. “All right, what’ll it be, Loraine? Name your poison.” The sheer variety was overwhelming. “Uh, maybe vanilla?” Kris groaned dramatically. “Vanilla? Really? Come on

  • Fated to Four Brothers    Her Champions

Loraine’s POV The crazy and almost unbelievable courtroom drama was actually still very much floating in my mind as we walked toward the car. My relief was mixed with exhaustion, but I was so very grateful the hearing hadn’t gone entirely against us. My champions—the boys—had and were still surrounding me protectively, with their sharp gazes scanning every inch of our surroundings as if ready to pounce on the first sign of trouble. It’s like they almost expected a fallback or a retaliation for the fact that we managed to prove my innocence after all. A punishment for being innocent Now wasn’t that the most ironic shit you had heard today? “Well, that was a close one,” Hunter muttered, his voice low but tense. “Elder Arnold isn’t going to back off easily. We need to tighten security and—” “—get rid of that mole, Mabel,” Preston interjected, his tone harsher than usual. I stopped walking, turning to face them. “What?” “Mabel,” he repeated, his eyes narrowing. “She has to go. T
