I wouldn't expect that after a year, the pain was still there in my heart. The thought about Jace and I as siblings is not still clear to me.

“I couldn't believe it too, Emerald. Jace believed Damon's words.” I uttered.

Emerald went in front of me after she heard my statements.

I walked near the window and looked outside of the Kingdom. It was dark outside and I am sure that at any moment the ball will start. Luxurious cars kept on coming into our place. I know that many visitors are there to attend this annual celebration of the Southeast Kingdom.

And I was wondering if Jace was here. It's been a year since I last saw him.

“Does he look the same, Emerald?”

I asked her and that made her chuckle.

“You mean, Alpha Jace? Well, he looks more attractive now. He used to spend time exercising and training.”
