Chapter 41

MAEVE’S POV

I could hear muffled voices but everywhere was pitch black whenever I tried to look. That was when I realized that I wasn't awake. slowly I forced my eyes open and found out that I was back in Alpha Zane’s bedroom in our pack.

That was when memories from the accident came flooding back to my head and it hurt, making me groan. The last thing I remembered was Alpha Zane and I coming back to the pack and all of a sudden a trailer collided with our car.

“Babe?” Alpha Zane exclaimed with relief as he scurried over to the bed to meet me.

That was also when I noticed that Charlotte, Maggie, and Damien were also in the room. They all had worried looks on their faces, making me realize that I must have passed out longer than normal.

“ Thank the goddess you’re awake. I was worried sick about you,” Maggie ran over to me and crushed me in a bear hug making me wince with pain.

My body ached, although there were no bruises. Charlotte just stood at the far end of the room crying. Yeah!
