Chapter 71: She knows what she's doing

A few days later, Diana and her mates along with Freya, arrived at the faerie's kingdom.

"This is it?" Alden asked as he gazed up at the tall gates towering over them.

"Much larger than I thought." Asher muttered.

"Wow." Diana gasped, staring up at the tall shimmering golden gate. "It's magnificent."

"Wait until you're inside." Freya replied with a smile. Then she moved forward and pulled out a flute from her cloak.

"What's that?" Axel asked, staring at the thin creamy flute Freya held.

"The faerie queen gave it to me." Freya turned back briefly. "When I blow it, I will be granted entrance. She knows who you are Diana. She welcomes you."

"And what about us?" Alden asked with a frown. "Does she know we're her mates? We won't leave Diana all alone in there."

Freya sighed. "When I told the queen about you three, she didn't give me a reply."

"What does that mean?" Asher asked next.
