We are pregnant

Winter POV

After freshening up, I walked out of the bathroom and shrieked upon seeing Slade reclining on the bed. I wasn't expecting him. He had said he would gather everyone for the meeting, but here he was in the room, doing nothing.

I glared at him as I approached. "What the hell?!"

"What?" he asked, raising a brow. "Your scream frightened me." Slade did a mock shudder.

"I should be the one saying that!" I glared. "Your presence frightened me."

Slade chuckled and got out of bed. "Although that wasn't my intention, I can't help but feel happy to see you scream like that. And I'll prefer if the scream was for something else."

He walked behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, nuzzling my neck. "Goodness, Slade. You're acting strange. Since I woke up, it seems like the goddess gave me a new mate and not the one I knew."

Staring at him in the mirror, I blushed as his blue eyes darkened. Then I turned and flung my arms around his neck. "Do you want to do that now?" I whispered.
