Chapter 58

Alex's alarm buzzed insistently at 6:00 AM, piercing the early morning silence and drawing him from a deep sleep.

With a little toss, he stretched towards it and silenced it. He took several deep breathes and slowly adjusted his body, feeling the tightness in his muscles from a restless night.

He swung his legs out of bed and stretched, sitting still on the bed and thereafter, took a moment to reflect on the possible outcome the day might bring.

Today was a special day, one that he had been preparing for over the past weeks.

His mind wandered towards his board members whose immense support has been profound, and he was grateful to have such a supportive team.

Alex's mind was still deep in thought, filled with the details of the project and the pressure to deliver a flawless presentation.

Determined to start the day right, he headed to the kitchen to make a strong cup of coffee. While the coffee brewed, Alex reviewed his presentation notes, mentally rehearsing his speech.
