(Ten years later)

I shut down my computer and made sure everything was in order before leaving my office. Today was the first day of school, so I made my way over to the elementary school to wait for our kids.

Besides our twins, we also had Scarlett and Ace. Scarlett’s middle name was Millie after Mrs. Millie Croft of Blue Crest. Ace’s middle name was David. We used Apollo’s middle name to pay tribute to another uncle of our pups. Plus, Apollo hated being left out, and we did not want to hear him complain about it for the rest of eternity that he was not a namesake.

Kade currently had Ace since he was still an infant and had years to go before school started for him.

Kade and Tyre were both still hands-on fathers just like they were with all of our pups. They were the perfect fathers. Our three older pups loved running with Tyre and having him ‘hunt’ them. It was super adorable.

I smiled, thinking about all of the changes that had occurred over the past decade.
