chapter 1: The mate I wanted

Nora's POV

My life suddenly felt colorful after confirming my longtime crush is my mate, I could scream for the whole world to hear, or I could howl and wiggle my tail in my wolf form to appraise the moon goddess for choosing the person I want for me.

I left my room and went to the garden, I was invited by the floral scent and I smiled, everything becomes more sensitive to me and I had a never-ending smile on my face, my face broke. I touched the flower petals feeling it and I suddenly heard the approach of footsteps, halting what I was doing.

I saw Louis walking majestically to the garden, the beauty of the flowers become faded compared to his beauty, his black garment complemented his black hair and his white skin tone became more visible in the night glow, I wondered how a man could look this beautiful, God actually took time to make him because what is this beauty

He had a toothy smile on his face when he saw me, which gladdened my heart and my heart started racing, he halted his steps when he was standing in front of me and I looked up to smile at him, he is tall, and I have to look up to see his pretty face

“Nora,” he said, and I found myself almost slumping on the floor at how he called my name, it sounds beautiful and sexy coming from his mouth and that made me love my name the more, Louis is divine

“Were you waiting for me?” he asked

“Yes, I wanted to see you. We didn’t have much chance for ourselves earlier after confirming we are mates” I said, remembering the awkward way it happened. It was in the grand hall.

My dad, the beta of Lake Pack, was invited for dinner with the alpha, that was where Louis and i found out that we are mates. I had stayed behind to have time with him when he is finish with the internal affairs of the pack .

“Do you mind walking around the garden, it’s a full moon, and it will be pleasant” he said, and I nodded yes immediately, I don’t think I can spend any time away from him at these moments, I have always dreamt of this day, and I have prayed for it. The moon goddess answered my prayers, and now I could spend the rest of my life beside him as his mate and only companion.

Louis and I walked through the garden, and he made petty jokes, I love the way he roll his head back when laughing. His garment looks beautiful on him, he is every woman’s dream

“How is the night so far?” he suddenly asked, and I turned to look at his shiny blue eyes, the moon had illuminated them.

“Perfect,” I said smiling

“Do you mind if I invite you over to my room, I feel the breeze is too much, and I wouldn’t want you to catch a cold” he said lovely, and I couldn’t believe how caring he sounded

“I don’t mind,” I said, and he smiled, holding my hand, we walked hand in hand inside the pack house and went straight to his room, he ordered some wine on our way.

We stopped in front of a door, and he opened the door, I went inside first, and he did next, locking the door behind him.

I looked at the extravagant room, and it looked so beautiful, one could get lost in its beauty. “your room looks beautiful” I said and he smiled

“Thank you,” he said, and we suddenly heard a knock on the door, he went to open the door and collected the glass of wine for us, I took mine, mouthing a thank you, and I sipped it slowly while I sat next to him.

He dropped his and looked into my eyes, he suddenly cupped my face and I dropped my glass of cup, his eyes moved from my eyes to my lips and back again, he couldn’t control it any longer and kissed me, I felt my heart burst in joy and kissed him right back. The kiss got deeper and I moaned slightly.
