Chapter 79: Not feeling well

NORA'S POV

Gripping the bag tightly, the cold night breeze blew on my face. I forced a lump down my throat as I walk as fast as my legs could take me in the direction of the car, not far away from the exit.

I opened the car door and got inside with my lips trembling even when I tried to make them stable.

" Are you okay?" Jason asked immediately after I fastened my seatbelt.

" Just drive please," I answered and tuck a strand of hair behind my ear.

Jason nodded and turned on the car ignition before stepping on the accelerator.

I turned to look outside the window as we drove in the opposite of the SUV car. It was still there. In the same position.

A sigh of relief left my mouth as we disappeared into the distance and in fifteen minutes, we arrived home and I got out of the car. Jason held Aurora in his arm as we walk into my apartment.

As usual, Jason have the keys and we got inside. The warmth takes away the shivers.
