Chapter 39: Explosion

Nora’s POV

After two days, Louis finally came back to his room, rather our room.

He has been avoiding me for the past two days. He wouldn’t give me his attention and would constantly ask the guards to take me away from his office like some crazy woman. It was one of the most humiliating thing he had done to me. Getting me pregnant and treating me like trash.

He dropped his shirt on the couch and went straight into the bathroom. At this point, I don’t know if I should talk to him or not. I really don’t want to be kick out of this room.

I gulped and lay on the bed quietly with my left hand placed on my tummy. If I can’t talk to him tonight, I will wait for father’s feedback tomorrow. He had promised to talk with the alpha on my behalf and I’m hoping something good will come out of it even if I have little hope for it.

He walked out of the bathroom in only his boxers, water dripping down his chest and I quickly look away. He can’t entice me with his body. I need to think straight.
