Stefan's POVWhat was that back there... At first, I though I already knew what was going on but all of a sudden, I didn't know anything again. The horse, how could that be... Something does not feel right. The horse neighed and struggled at the sight of Cara... I'm sure of that, Henry saw it too. I could not have been mistaken. The horse again stopped at the sound of her voice. How's that possible. That could not have happened if the horse does not recognize Cara.Cara, what are you up to... What is going on. She smiled, her expression didn't give off any impression about something feeling not right. She acted like everything was fine but what if that was truly an act she decided to put on to avoid me... No, no, it can't be... Cara won't do anything stupid and again, she has not been out of the pack... How could the horse recognize her but yet, something does not feels right. I must question her but before I do that, I must seek out Liam to get some answer from him. Where did he get
Cara glare as Stefan walked back and forth inside his residence. He took a glance on Cara and looked away. Cara just stood there and waited for him to speak up but with the way Stefan acted, it seemed like he was not going to utter a single word anytime soon. Cara took a step forward and grunted and in no time coughed to get the attention of Stefan. Maybe Stefan was absorbed in his own thought and did not notice the presence of Cara. Stefan stopped and turned to face Cara's direction, immediately he heard her coughed. He smiled at first and at that time, Cara felt relieved but grinned as her heart raced when the expression on his face changed. She gulped and grunted as Stefan walked up to Cara. Cara noticed by Stefan's movement that he would not stop coming for her. Cara at first took a step backwards but that incite Stefan to accelerate and increased his speed. Cara moved backwards and stopped when she could longer move as the wall stood against her.Stefan stood and gazed at her. H
Cara walked out of the door and shut it behind her. She pressed her hand against her chest like she was trying to feel her breath as she leaned her back against the door. She had a picture of what would have happened to her if Stefan was to suspect anything concerning her. She would have been slapped numerous times before Stefan would state the punishment that was administered to her. She smiled and shrugged as she stood erect, knowing that she had gotten through this. She soon thought of meeting up with Liam and decided to go look for him. She sighted Liam from afar off walking towards her direction. She was glad as she don't have to stress herself searching for Liam. She took a step forward to meet up with him but stopped all of a sudden when he sighted Henry that showed up out of nowhere and walked behind him.She soon noticed the movement of Liam as he walked. His steps doesn't feel like him. He seemed to be restless as he walked unsteadily. With time she figured out that Henry w
Liam knelt on his knees as he had been there for almost an hour. He grinned in pain and closed his eyes repeatedly after opening them up. He knelt on thorns and blood dripped down from his knees unto the ground. He wanted to support himself by resting his hands on the ground but he was stopped by Stefan when he yelled at him. Stefan walked around him in a circle but never looked at his way. Liam bowed his head as he breathed heavily. He made some whooshing sound as his heart beat faster than usual."Oh, Liam... You have to talk to me," Stefan said a second time as he had at first questioned Liam about the horse and where he had found it but Liam turned deaf ears to his words and muted as he had not the right answer to give to his questions. What was he going to say anyway, He narrowed his thoughts and had a picture on his mind but yet that was not genuine enough for Stefan to believe him just like that. He thought making the same excuse he made to Henry when they met at the bush. Tho
Liam walked down accross the Royal residence with the aim of meeting up with Cara. He furious and at the same time angered. He grinned as he whispered the name of Cara repeated. He walked hurriedly so he might not be seen by anyone. He stopped immediately when he noticed the Shadow that was coming towards his way. Since he was close to Cara's room, he had to stop to avoid being suspected by anyone as he already figured out that he was being watched. He leaned his back against the wall and bowed his head as he stared at his arm. He brought his arm so very close to his head and glare at it with all seriousness, tilting his head back and forth. The guards soon got to where he stood. There were two of them. The called him by his name and bowed their head slightly before him. They soon questioned him about what the matter was as he was the only one standing. Maybe something was wrong and they decided to find out from him.Liam smiled and took a step closer to them. He placed and rested hi
Cheering and screaming filled the entire ground of the pack square. Every members of the pack were gathered all around the pack square. There were drums that being beaten by a few young wolves. The drums were made by them using the wool of a mere wolf animal they caught. A few of the ladies of the pack danced around a burning fire while some of the men cheered and clapped for them. Everyone was happy as the trial was about to commence. The moon lurked around the clouds as it seemed to be moving. It was about time for the full moon to appear. A few other men entered through the gate inside the pack. They were not of Stefan pack but had come from another pack to take part in the trial. It has always been done that way as it was a culture for any other Royal family of another pack and that was a warrior to take part in the trial of another pack since it was all for the sole purpose of showcasing their strength and ability. The guards that were stationed at the gate by Henry directed the
Every members of the pack clapped, including Stefan and his guards. They were thrown into a muse, seeing the gown which Stefan was dressed in. The way she walked, the expression on her face, though she didn't smile but it was no different from the look of a bold face. She held the tip of her gown at one side with her left hand while her other hand swung right beside her, back and forth. Cara walked on for a moment and almost got to the spot where Stefan stood beside his chair with Henry and Liam but stopped all of a sudden. She closed her eyes and tilted her head slowly. She sniffed repeatedly with her mouth slightly opened. She opened her eyes and glanced around all that surrounded her. She remained on a spot but her head wandered around the pack square while her eyes stayed fixes without blinking. ``Roy, this is your scent... you're here.... where are you,`` She thought to herself and gulped. Her eyes soon caught Laurel who was standing amongst the crowd. She noticed Kyle and Priya
Roy stood for a moment after he made eye contact with Cara. Cara gulped, there was no smile on her face but one could tell by her expression and with the way her eyes blinked repeatedly, she was as excited to see Roy. She whispered his name silently so that Stefan could not hear her speak except if he was to read his lips. Stefan did not notice Roy who stopped to sight Cara as he www carries away by the chants of the pack members who continued with hailing the guests who had come for the trials despite the fact that they had no idea who they were. Roy was dressed in a black jean and a black jacket that fitted his body so that the shape of his chest could be noticed by anyone. He seemed to be the only one with such body. He already learnt about the trials from Liam and how it was always done as the trials varies with each pack. Also he learnt about the guest that have been granted the access to take part in the trials. He had await the coming of the guest as they all arrived one after
Abel walked slowly thinking about what Roy would do to them after the betrayal. Though it wasn't his fault but yet he could have stopped it for happening but was not strong enough to stop Eric and his Father. He walked slowly, putting one foot in front of the other in an attempt to meet with his Father. He got to the doorstep of his Father and stood there. He knocked and without waiting for a response from the inside of the room, he barged in and shut the door behind him. He looked at his Father who sat on a wheelchair with his back turned against him. He lost his leg during a fight with a few of the werewolves. He was the one to take the war to them with a few of the hunters. He shouldn't have been the one to lose his legs that night but he eventually did after he tried to save Taylor. They were ambushed as it wasn't what they were expecting. At first they thought they were winning the fight not until a few other wolves came out of nowhere and attacked them from every coners. It w
Roy sat inside the van at the back while Abel sat right next to him and Eric right at his front. Eric spied on him through the mirror that was hanging right above him. Though Roy noticed him but was less concerned about that. He head was raised high up with his eyes closed. L He lingered upward on his seat when the Van climbed on a large stone. He opened his eyes as he noticed the Van had stopped."We are here... but you won't alight here... we'll be going straight to meet him," Abel said to him. He looked up and made a sudden eye contact with Eric whose eyes was fixed on him. Abel knew that Eric did not support his alliance with Roy but Abel understood Roy and thought about it, placing himself in his shoes. He figured out he would also do the same if he should put himself in Roy's position. "I hope he hears you out but you should know... you'll have to fight him and he is experienced in this, it's not going to be easy," He said "I hope it won't be easy," Eric said immediately Abel
Liam rode on his horse, crushing through the forest as he made way for the Blackpool pack. Roy had told him to get back and get Cara to be on her way as he would have set things right before she arrives. That was part of his plan as he thought of hiding her amongst the hunters. It was the only option he have and the only one that could save Cara and the baby. Since the pack was not a safe place for them, not even in the city but being in the midst of the hunter would be a much better option. The werewolves, even though they had abilities were all scared to cross their boundary and attack the hunters, knowing that many of them would die at the hand of the hunters. They had never once taken the fight to them. He believed that if he could only get them to see from his point of view, there will be no reason to go to war.The baby would be the one who o stir up the war but if she would not be there for everyone to fight over her, then no war could be started. Liam crossed the path which th
"We have to go... we have to catch up with them," Roy said immediately Abel finished with his words. "This must have happened while I was gone... It wasn't here when I passed by," Liam said and took a brief look at Roy. "Something must be going on in the city... we have to hurry," He added."No, we have to find the hunters," Roy said immediately."And do what... kill them," Abel said and rushed right in front of Roy to stop him. He had not a slight fear in him when he heard the words Roy uttered. Liam wanted to grab him and pushed him away but Roy stopped him, knowing he was fighting for those he cared about."I feel what you feel Abel... Did you notice your reaction," He asked and sighed. "You were not even scared of me despite the fact that you were always scared... what gave you the confidence," He asked and smiled. He took a few steps closer to Abel."You had your courage because you're trying to protect your people," Roy said and took a deep breath in. "You could see why I woul
Not long after that Roy had taken his leave from the spot which he had his fight with the werewolf alongside Liam and Abel, he stopped when he sighted a thick fog of smoke that went up into the sky a little distance from them as it was eight ahead of them. Liam and Abel who were right behind him also halted as they saw what he had seen. "What is this.... this might be another trap," Liam said and rode his horse closer to Roy so that he was right beside him. "I know... it might, most of them knows that I'm away from the pack since there were intruders in the pack," He said to Liam and looked away after which he had took a brief look at him."We don't know what will be waiting for us on the other side... it's difficult to see through it," Liam said, waiting to hear from Roy about what he thought they could do. "We could use him... the human," He suggested but at that moment, Roy refute his opinion and made it known to him that Abel can't be hurt as he had choosen to trust him despite
Roy held the wolf which had spoken for the rest of his pack after which he smashed him down on the ground. He landed another punch right on his face and in no time, turned his head to notice Liam after which he heard the sound of his voice. He sighed Liam already thrown down on the floor with the side of his head bleeding, profusely. Roy got up to help him out. He ran into their midst without hesitation with the three of them surrounding him. He fought them so hard, piercing them with his claws. He got hold of one of them and threw him hard to the ground. He was struck by one of them right on his lower back, causing him to lose his balance. The three of them rushed at him all at once, leaving him at the middle. They slashed their hands trying to cut him with their claws. He defended himself, griping them one after the other and hitting them hard with his palm. He could have killed them, piercing them with his claws and be done with them once and for all but he choose not to, knowing
Abel was thrown into a muse by the words he heard Liam speak... Though he had no idea what he name was but with the way he spoke with Roy, they should be very close and had been a long time since they saw each other. He gulped and looked away as he noticed Roy stare. Roy turned to Liam and asked him if he knew how he could get to the city without anyone noticing him."Why are you going to the city... you haven't answered me yet... is it true," He asked and walked hurriedly to stop Roy from walking back and forth as he seemed restless at the moment after hearing the story of Liam. He never expected that he would have to be that way and based on the fact that it had already started in the city. He stopped and pressed on with his gaze on Liam and without giving him an answer, Liam got the answer himself. He could tell by the look on his face."So it was true... and where is Cara," He said and at that moment, Roy rushed to him and grabbed him by his neck. He held him firmly and almost lif
Roy held Abel firmly on his mouth as he tried to make a sound when he was pierced by thorns around the bush they hid themselves. He turned his head slowly to notice Roy and at that time, Roy tilted his head as a gesture so he won't have to make the sound he was about to make as it could rat them out since he was trying to hide himself from whosever that was stalking them. He withdrew his hand from Abel's mouth and closed his eyes. He tilted his head subsequently with his lips partly opened as he tried to catch the scent a second time all for the sole purpose of getting the direction the scent was coming from. ``Why does this smell this way... I've come across this wolf before but I don't know where,`` He thought to himself and packed a fistful of sand in his hand. He propelled his head forward and peeped to have a look at his surroundings but he sighted no one."We can't stay here all night... maybe you're mistaken Roy," Abel whispered to him with a low tone. "We can't move out...
Roy and Abel rode side by side with each other on their horses. The clouds was dark and the moon lurked around the clouds slowly like it was moving. Roy looked upward at the sky and viewed it for some moments. He folded his lips with his eyes lids slowly closed in such a way that it seemed like his eyes were both closed but they were not.Abel stared at him all the while with his eyes pressed on him. He looked for a while without noticing the branch of tree that shoot out from a tree and was right ahead of him in such a way that he might get injured by the branch if he choose not to avoid it as it had some sharp end that might cause him to back down and not be able to move on again but would have to rest and probably take some break before they set out again.Roy, though wasn't looking his way as his eyes were fixed on the clouds and the moon itself. The moon reminded him constantly of the vision that Cara had seen concerning the child she would born as it would be on the full moon. H
