She’s Pregnant

Under the dim light in the cave-like room, sat Belinda . Her arms wrapped around her legs as she folded up at the corner of the room.

It was that time of the day. The time Alpha Cephas was going to remind her that she would be nothing but his slave and play-thing.

‘You can’t keep letting him do this to you, Belinda .’ Her inner self said to her. “You need to do something! You need to voice out.’

‘Voice out? To whom? No one would ever listen to me, or what I have to say. It will be a waste of time.’

‘No! You’ll hate yourself if you die without trying to fight for yourself once! Voice out!’

‘I can’t…’

The quarrel she had with herself came to an halt when she heard the door of her room open. She raised her head and saw Alpha Cephas walk in.

“Alpha Cephas.” She called and hurriedly sprang to her feet.

His dark malicious eyes peered her skin and she felt her skin crawl. “Come closer.” His croaky voice hit her ears like a hammer.

She gulped hard and trudged to where he stood. She lowered her head when she got to his front, and folded her hands in front of her.

Suddenly, he grabbed her hair and pushed her head backwards, making her lock her fearful eyes with his.

“I told you to look me in the eyes anytime I come in here. Didn’t I say that?” He groaned.

Belinda swallowed hard and kept her eyes locked with his. “I’m sorry, Alpha Cephas.”

“And you know I hate that word.” He tightened his grip on her hair and walked past her, dragging her along with him.

He got to her small bed and threw her on it. He climbed on top of her and ripped off the linen fabric she had worn.

Belinda didn’t bother to struggle with him, she threw her face to the side and let him do his thing.

He grabbed her chin and made her look at him as he made her feel like sh*t.

After a few minutes of satisfying his brutal pleasure, he finished.

He let out a loud sigh and threw on her, the regular pills he always gave her every time he had satisfied himself.

Without saying any more words to her, he walked out of her room.

Belinda slowly cleaned the tears that rolled down her eyes. She picked up the red pill he threw on her and stared at it for minutes.

It wasn’t the first time she was using it, but she didn’t know what it was for.

‘Don’t take it, Belinda ! Who knows what it is for? If you can’t voice out, at least start from somewhere! He can’t keep using you like this.’

Her inner voice came to her again as she glared at the pill in her hand.

She sprang to her feet and hurried to the small and only window in her room.

She threw the pill out of the window and after that, she shut her eyes and exhaled loudly.

For once in her whole life, she felt like she did something for herself. She turned back to her bed and laid down to sleep.

Belinda , an eighteen year old wolf, was born to be a slave. Her lineage was known to be the slave of any pack they found themselves. Belinda believed she was cursed.

After her parents were killed during a fight of raging packs, she was left alone to deal with the cruelty of the pack. She was the plaything to almost everyone in the pack.

Alpha Cephas got his way with her, Luna Maeve made her do literally everything for her, they hardly fed her twice a day.

Belinda once had hopes of living behind such a shitty life, but after her parents died, she lost all hopes and accepted her fate.

She crawled up on her bed and shut her eyes. “If only I could sleep and never wake up.” She muttered.

After Two Weeks.

Belinda was busy washing Luna Maeve’s feet when all of a sudden, she felt a great urge to puke. She dropped the napkin and covered her mouth.

She ran out of the house and moved to the side to vomit. Luna Maeve furrowed her brows and watched her closely.

“Something's off about that girl.” Maeve said to Cephas, who was also in the living room, reading his papers.

He raised his head and looked at Maeve. “Off? I don’t understand.”

“Haven’t you noticed how she’s been acting these days? She has been acting so weak, she looks pale, and has been vomiting constantly.”

Cephas gulped and shrugged his shoulders. “Maybe she’s just sick.” He answered, showing no concern.

“I know what I’m saying. I think she’s pregnant.”

Cephas took an abrupt halt and tightened his grip on the papers in his hands.

“It can’t be possible. Who on earth would sleep with her? She’s a mere, dirty slave!”

“I know! But I can’t be wrong. I know a pregnant woman when I see one.”

Belinda walked into the living room, acting like nothing had happened.

She headed back to Maeve and sat in front of her. She was about to pick the napkin when Maeve stopped her.

“Stand up.” She commanded. Belinda hurriedly rose to her feet and lowered her head.

“Raise your head.” She added, and Belinda did just that.

Maeve pulled her closer and widened her eyes with her fingers. She went ahead to grab her palm and stared at it.

‘This better not be what I’m thinking. Did she stop using the drugs?’ Cephas thought as he stared at them.

“I knew it!” Maeve uttered. She stood up and threw a very hot slap on Belinda ’s face, making her fall to the ground.

“She’s pregnant, Cephas! I wasn’t wrong.” Maeve said in awe.

“Pregnant? That is impossible. You dare f**k around in my own house?!” Cephas growled and sprang to his feet too.

“Who owns it, hun?!” Maeve questioned Belinda .

Belinda was too weak to stand up from the floor, so she just laid down there, covering her face in shame.

“Didn’t you hear her? Who knows that bastard!” Cephas yelled. He moved closer to her and kicked her belly.

“Haaaa!” Belinda yelled and burst into tears. The throbbing pain she felt was nothing compared to what she had always felt. It was worse!

“I can’t believe this. She has the guts to get pregnant.” Maeve said sarcastically.

“That won’t last for long. Guards!” Cephas called and two of his guards ran into the living room.

“Alpha Cephas.” They bowed.

“Get her out of here, strip her naked and tie her to the shame tree.” He ordered.

“Already? We have to know who knows it.”

“No, we don’t, Maeve.” Cephas angrily answered, and Maeve kept quiet.

The guards grabbed Belinda by the hand and pulled her out of the house. They stripped her naked according to the order and tied her to the shame tree.

“Please, I beg you! Let me go!” Belinda cried with the remaining strength in her, but they turned deaf ears to her.

She knew she was going to die. Since she had known the tree, anyone that was unfortunate enough to get tied up to it would eventually end up dead.

“Please!” She yelled, but they turned their backs on her and left.

Soon, every member of the pack was out of their houses and tents, they were staring at her body. Belinda felt so ashamed but she could do nothing about it.

One of the Betas that had always wanted to have something to do with her moved closer to her and grabbed her breasts.

The rest of the people burst into laughter.

Belinda clenched her jaw and spat on his face. “Go to hell.” She groaned.

He grew angry and threw her a dirty slap for spitting on him. He wanted to continue when Alpha Cephas walked out of his house.

“Step away from her, Titus. Everybody back to your tents! She will be judged tomorrow morning!” Cephas announced.

The people began to murmur as they headed back to their houses.

Cephas walked up to her and whispered in her ear. “You should have used the pills. Now, you have to die for acting so smart.”

He moved back and tucked his hands in his pockets. “And, don’t you dare make a noise, or you’ll force me to kill you faster. I’m giving you enough time to say your last prayers. Don’t ruin it.”

He walked away after giving her his warnings. Belinda knew shouting for help was going to put her in trouble, so she just kept shut and cried.

“I knew my inner self would end up killing me one day. Well, you’ve succeeded.” She said to herself.

‘My wolf, where are you?! Why have you been silent? Why can’t you help me fight back?! Why are you dead?’ She cried inside of her and tears ran down her eyes.

Belinda began to shiver as soon as it was past midnight. Her breath was foggy and she felt her hands and legs freezing. Her nipples also hardened, reacting to the intense cold.

This cold woke her up from the very uncomfortable sleep she was having. Her neck was hurting badly, so as everywhere the rope that was used to tie her touched.

She slightly opened her eyes, but she could see nothing.

“Please help me.” The words sounded louder in her head than when she pronounced them.

Soon, she began to hear faint noises. “Please help me.” She whispered again.

The sounds drew near and then her eyes caught a flash of light. “Is somebody there?” She questioned no one in particular.

“Hey…” An unfamiliar voice whispered to her.

“Please. Help. Me.” She managed to say before she finally lost consciousness.
