After finishing their meal, Kent stood up to clear the dishes, his movements were smooth and tidy. Once he was done, he headed to the bathroom to wash his hands before returning to the ward.

"Do you want to sleep?" he asked her with a gentle voice, but August pouted her lips and put on a sad expression. "No, I've been sleeping too much since I got here. I don't like this hospital; I just want to go home." Her voice was laced with a whine, she was trying to hide her frustration, but it was not working.

Kent walked closer, his eyes filled with understanding. "Come on, babe, you need to be monitored, okay? Just endure it for a little while longer." He said as he tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

August sighed, and sagged her shoulders. "I know, babe, but I just don't like it here." She took a deep breath and said to Kent.

Kent's expression softened. "Just endure it for a while, babe. You'll be home soon." August nodded her head and smiled a little.
