A week later, August was finally discharged from the hospital. That morning, she woke up early, her face radiating joy and excitement.

"Babe!" she called out and tapped Kent's shoulder.

Kent, who was still sleeping, groggily opened his eyes and stared at his energized wife. "Babe, what's the matter?" he asked, his voice laced with sleep.

August pouted her lips and said, "I need to freshen up." Her eyes sparkled with anticipation.

Kent nodded his head and checked the time,he was shocked to see it was only 4 am. He facepalmed himself and said softly, "Babe, it's still early. Go back to sleep."

But August grinned mischievously and said, "I know, babe, but I need to get ready early."

Kent drew her closer and said, "Not now, babe. You should sleep more. I will wake you up when it's time."

August frowned her face and tried to argue, but Kent's tired voice and gentle tone calmed her down. "I promise, babe, I will wake you up early," he said as he reassured her.
