‍‍‍‍Alfred, Alexandria's father roamed the werewolf border. He moved swiftly but carefully, dodging the wet grasses from slapping his face. He was on duty, so as usual, he was dressed in his full royal guard uniform.

His right hand clung tightly to his sword which was just beneath his waist to the left. The clothes weren't so tough but that wasn't an issue even in the cold chilly weather, he could always transform into his wolf man and cuddle in his hairy furs If the weather went too bad.

His watchful eyes darted from place to place with every noise that came with an unfamiliar scent, his Iris was bright sun yellow like they were on flames indicating his wolfman was close to taking over, ready for action just in case anything funny popped up. His eyes pierced further into the dark scary night.

Recently, they had been reports of humans roaming about the werewolf borders, though their mission or reason was unknown, nonetheless, the guess was that they were there to spy on them, probably to know how well they've grown in the clan or how to launch an attack on them which had been like a hobby to the humans whose aim seemed to be that they disappear into thin air.

Suddenly, a sound popped in the bush behind him, his eyes moved swiftly towards the noise, he sniffed a little, it was a human smell, his ear perked up immediately, and gently a smirk appeared across his face. "Seems like someone came snooping around," He thought out loud.

He sniffed more following the smell and launched into a quiet chase as the smell got strong enough, he had almost turned into a full wolf but decided against it. 'Let's go on safe mode, am not sure I want any human blood on my fangs tonight', he thought.

The human seemed smart enough, though Alfred tried to be as sneaky as possible, the human seemed experienced in the game, he broke into a good run immediately he detected a strange sound like something was coming for him. Alfred gave him a hot chase.

The human ran for his life, but he was no match for Alfred, though the human was quite far, Alfred still gained on him in no time.

The man who quickly realized that he was no match for the person who was pursuing him, quickly climbed to the top of a tree. Alfred was still in his human form as he came to a stop just beneath the tree, but his claws were already out and his eyes seemed to be burning like a refinery, they were much like gold than yellow now.

"What makes you think climbing the tree stops me from getting you and tearing you apart, human?" Alfred said as he growled. "Well, because you are not an animal" the man replied looking tensed but not so shaky.

"That's not usually what your race believes and say about us, am I wrong? Or did you think that would be an escape line for you nasty sly spy?" Alfred snarled "what? Spy? Am not a spy" the man responded almost immediately.

"Oh yeah, does it seem like I care?" Alfred said as he reached for the tree to climb it.

"But you've got to believe me, am not a spy, am a physical fitness trainer for the National security and intelligence academy and I just came out here with some of my students for camping and outdoor training, I only came further into the forest to hunt meat for the team, we've been craving some meat since we came here, and I didn't even realize I have gone this far," he said.

Though this was true, it wasn't fully true. He had come out to check the trap his team and he had set earlier that day, now, they were all out that night star gazing and chit chatting, that it just felt like having a barbecue would make the night just perfect, so he had sneaked out to give his students a surprise, besides the trap wasn't so far off, he would be back before they noticed.

He had even come without his gun since there would be no need to cross the part the surveyors had previously checked and declared 'far from harm' careless of him though, but I guess we all get careless sometimes, And then he had heard the howl of a wolf which sounded not so far, or so he thought, He decided to just take a peek, you know, just to check it out, as his curiosity got the better part of him.

For years, he had heard about the wolves and vampires that lived not so far from them but he hadn't seen any, as a trainer, he had taught humans to defend themselves against these creatures and any other prospective danger but he had never seen the danger.

"Why should I believe you?" Alfred said he wasn't one to shed innocent blood. "What do I do to make you believe me?" The man responded. "Take me to your team, that way I know you are not lying," Alfred ordered.

The man considered for a moment 'what if I take him to the camp and he does a massacre and kills everyone, but then again, there are weapons at the camp, he couldn't fight every one of them just by himself especially when they get armed. "Fine," he said "but how am I sure if I get down you won't kill me," the man said.

"Well, well you guys never change, a while ago you said I wasn't an animal," Alfred said with a smirk, "and by the way, if I wanted to kill you I would have been right there with you on that tree tearing and shredding you into pieces rather than wasting my time talking with you," Alfred said. "that sounded really painful, the shredding and tearing, but I guess you are right," the man said as reality dawned on him. He jumped off the tree and joined Alfred.

The man ensured to keep a safe distance as they walked off, "so you are like a wolf?" He asked staring at him in disbelief, "why, got any issue?" Alfred simply replied. "Not like an issue, but you look just like a human, so what makes you any different, Your eyes?" He asked. Alfred didn't reply and just kept walking.

"Oh no, I get it now, your unnaturally weird-looking long fingers, or should I call them claws?" The human said, Alfred, turned to give him a sharp gaze, "I guess not!" The human replied moving further away from Alfred. "Well if you don't mind you should cut or would I say trim them a bit, they look really sharp and dangerous, it's not safe, even for you" The man ranted again.

Alfred turned to him suddenly moving closer to him slowly, the human moved back "chill man, take it easy, you know what, I would just shut up" he said. Alfred eyed him for a moment then backed away. walking out while leaving the man to follow behind, the human was smart enough not to think of trying to run away.

They walked for a long while, When the man realized Alfred had no plan of talking he just continued without fear, seems like the scare Alfred gave him wasn't enough or maybe he was just a natural brave type, "okay you don't want to talk, anyway am Ben" he said as they both drew near his camp, Alfred could finally perceive the smell of humans, 'those humans over there couldn't be here for war, if not this one here would be with a weapon at least and aimed for him once he saw him, right?' Alfred thought glaring at the man.

The man stood still not daring to move or react wrongly, he was then sure that the man wasn't lying, he wasn't stupid to walk right into a human camp, he turned and faced the man, "human, you can go ahead" and with that, he turned around and was just about to leave.

"Wait," Ben said and Alfred turned "what is it human?" "I already told you am Ben anyway thank you," Ben said. "For what?" Alfred said, "I don't know, maybe for not tearing me apart," Ben said laughing uneasily "here," Ben said taking his card and giving it to Alfred, just in case there is anything you need this 'human' help for, call me, that's my number, and what's your name if you don't mind?" Ben said

'what possible way could a human be of help to him, and by the way, there were very few telephones at luna lands which belongs to upper-class citizens' Alfred taught. Nonetheless, he took the card and answered Ben's question "Alfred, that's my name" he said and with that, he was out of sight speeding into the forest and disappearing into the darkness.

Though the wolves weren't as fast as the vampires, the wolves still had unusual speeds compared to the humans. "Oh, wowwww, so they do that too" Ben muttered in shock. "That's so cool!" he exclaimed "nice name by the way" he shouted after Alfred as he walked off to join his team.
