His body tensed.

I looked down, a frown making its way up my face when I saw his pleasure covered face mingled with something else.

Pain.

And he was trying hard not to let me see it, from the way he avoided my gaze.

I stopped riding him, and got off his body.

“What’s wrong Zeke?” I asked, breathing fast.

My heart was swirling with emotions. Emotions so different. The ones I hadn't felt ever since growing up.

This man whom I doubted most of the time, had been ready to lay down his life in my place hours ago.

Yeah, even though his great-grandfather had been the perpetrator.

But he'd been ready to die for me.

A tear slipped down my cheek as he winced again.

“Zeke?” I whispered, my fear evident.

“It’s nothing. Why did you stop?” He asked, his voice lower than before.

It put me on edge, my pleasure forgotten.

“You’re in pain. I'll get the others.” As I spoke, I placed one leg down the bed frame, ready to dash out of the room.
