I hope y'all are as excited as I am.
I'll release two chapters Mondays and Fridays.
I hope y'all like. Please comment or use those gems to let me and GoodNovel know y'all love the story so I can keep writing the sequels.
Thank y'all for supporting my books.
Revenge will be the conclusion of the Silver Dragon Trilogy but don't fret. I plan to make 3 sequels that will follow her children's destiny's starting with Maliyah. The twins will then follow and lastly will be Davina's and Derek's last child but I won't give away names, you'll have to read Revenge to find out.
Thanks again and enjoy!
Alastor It’s taking me too long to recovery, granted I have been impatient and keep ripping my wounds open. Maliyah did quite the number on me. She’s more powerful that I thought she would be for her age. From what my spies have reported, Maliyah is still in a coma and the pack is about to have their funeral for Malayah and Keila. Last I spoke with Henry, he reported of a fairy that foresaw Maliyah’s future. Her future marrying that stupid elf prince, Aspen. I can’t let that happen. Breaking into the fairy realm is not easy and Thomas has been working on a way to get through their defenses without detection. I’d rather this be a smooth operation, but things have not been going our way lately. I stare at my reflection and exam my wounds. I’ll definitely have a gnarly scar across my chest that leads down to my lower back. I commend Maliyah for her fighting skills. She shouldn’t have been able to even touch me. “Do you finally have a plan? Everyone is pretty much recovered,” says Th
Derek It’s been a month since Maliyah fell into a coma and she has showed no signs of waking up. Davina has done her best to ensure she spends time with the twins, but if she is not with them she is by Maliyah’s side. It’s time we move forward with the funeral, we can’t wait any longer. My mother walks in the nursery just as I am changing Accalia. Thierry is running around his little play area like a mad man. He’ll be able to climb that gated play yard soon. “He is just like you when you were this age,” mom laughs as she scoops Thierry in her arms. “I ran around like the road runner?” “Yep. We couldn’t get you to sit still to save your life.” She puts down Thierry and I set Accalia down, letting the twins run around together. I can’t believe they are already three. So much has happened since they were born. I feel bad they will never get to meet their sister, Malayah. “How is she today mom?” “No change Derek. The important thing is to stay hopeful and pray to the moon goddess
Katerina“River! Are you sure you and Katherine want to stay?”“Yeah mom. I’d rather Katherine not travel so close to giving birth,” River replies.“Okay, your father and I will be back in about a week or so.”I worry about my sister and my niece. I am hoping Cedar and Joy can give us more insight to her condition. I don’t understand why Maliyah has yet to wake up. Her injuries have healed a long time ago.“You ready babe,” asks my mate, Kale.“Yep.”I close my eyes and teleport us to the fairy realm. I wish I knew about this ability a long time ago. As soon as we arrive I see Cedar and Joy by the lake. They both smile and walk over to greet us.“Katerina! Kale! We’ve missed you,” says Joy as she pulls me into a hug.&ldqu
CedarWhen I awaken I find I am in a locked cell with Joy and Kale. What they want with Kale, I don’t know but I do know what they want me and Joy for. It’s why we’ve tried to keep our existence a secret.“Joy are you okay?“I’m fine Cedar, where are we.”“I can answer that for you.”On the other side of the bars is a figure in the shadows. Joy hides behind me and Kale growls, but this only makes the person chuckle.“You could try Kale, but assure you, you would lose.”The person steps out from the shadows. I don’t know who he is but Kale seems to know.“What do you want Thomas.”“Ah, good. I wasn’t sure you would know who I was. My nephew must’ve told you all about me.”“What do you want,” says Joy.Thomas clasps his hands tog
Derek “It’s time love.” “She’s still not awake yet Derek. I can’t leave her here alone.” “I’ll stay with her.” We both turn and see Aspen. He’s been gone for the last few days dealing with some business back in the elf realm. We weren’t sure if he was ever coming back. “Aspen.” “I’m sorry I was gone for so long. I’ll stay with Maliyah.” Davina hugs Aspen, which seems to throw him off but he hugs her back. My mom already has the twins downstairs and Mark is directing to people to their seats. I think back to the last funeral we had. Maliyah and I had played a piece together and I miss doing that with her. I do wish she was awake so she could say goodbye to her sister. “Where is Katerina,” asks Davina. “She went to the fairy realm but she should’ve been back by now. She said she would be here for the funeral.” “I’m worried about my parents, “ whispers River. “I feel like something is wrong.” I can tell Davina is worried too. The whole pack is here to show their support as wel
DerekThe funeral service has come to a close and everyone is heading home. I stay behind to help put away the chairs and tables along with several of my warriors. We all freeze as we hear howls in the distance that send a shiver up my spine. I feel someone trying to mind link me.“Alpha, we captured a rogue along the border. He was spying on the pack house.”“Any others?”“No they all took off.”“Alright. Send the rogue to the cells. I’ll meet you there.”I rush straight to the cells with Mark right behind me. I bring him up to speed on what just happened as we make our way to the cells. Alastor must be trying to figure out what is going on with Maliyah. Time To see what this spy knows about Alastor and his plans. I enter the cells and immediately smell the horrible stench. The smell of a rogue is vile and it makes me want to vomit.
Derek “Alastor has made a move. The fairies were attacked.” “Is everyone okay? Where is Kale?” “No Davina, everyone is not okay. They got Cedar, Joy and Kale.” “Oh Katerina.” Davina turns to Katerina with tears in her eyes. Her sister may be fine but if anything happens to Kale, Katerina is going to wish she was dead. “I already have a meeting set with the other packs. We will put together a rescuer party. We will get them back Davina, I promise.” “Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” she snaps at me. I am shocked at her anger towards me. This is the first time she has shown an emotion other than sadness and I am not sure why she is directing it at me. Mark shrugs his shoulders, just as clueless as I am. “Davina, we will be in my office if you’d like to be a part of the meeting.” She ignores me as Mark and I leave the room. She went from sad
Davina I have been distraught at Malayah’s death that I held off on the funeral as long as I could. I hoped and prayed Maliyah would wake up but my prayers go unanswered. There has been no sign of Maliyah waking up anytime soon and all the of doctors we’ve called have no answers. After hearing what Aspen said, I finally have some hope. Maliyah is there, she just needs a little guidance. I know if anyone can guide her back to me it will be Aspen. They have a bond I can’t explain and she tends to listen to him over anyone else. I’ll have to give Aspen the space he needs to try and reach her. “Davina what are you doing?” I have been at the training grounds for the past two hours. I have been training physically and with Akira. I am in full control of my powers, my emotions no longer get the better of me. I know longer lose control of my powers
Maliyah“Maliyah, the guests are arriving!”“Coming mom!”I quickly finish doing my hair in a half up pony tail style and curl it before doing my make up. I can’t believe it’s been almost five years since the war ended and here we are, celebrating my sixteenth birthday. I stop by my nightstand with my sister’s picture and use my powers to make the flowers in the vase bloom again.“Happy birthday sis,” I whisper as I head for the door.I throw on my Ariat boots, hoping towards the door as I put on one at a time. I almost collide with my door trying to put on my last boot as I grab the handle to open the door only to end up running into Aspen. I nearly fall backwards onto the floor, but Aspen reaches out and catches my arm to steady me.
DavinaI wake with a start that it startles Derek. Sweat is dripping down my face as Derek gently cups my face.“What’s wrong love,” he says looking around the room for an intruder.“I got to say goodbye to Malayah,” I whisper. He looks at me confused.“Okay, but what has you so scared?”I turn to Derek, making sure he is listening carefully. Worry is evident on his face as I take deep breaths to calm my racing heart. I need someone else to know what she told me.“Malayah said, ‘Beware of the new comer, darkness will come for her’.”“What does that even mean?”“I don’t know. I don’t even know exactly who she was talking about, but I think it’s Maliyah. I think she was talking about Maliyah and whoever Maliyah saw in t
DavinaThe twins have fallen asleep, Thierry on Derek, Accalia on Calista and Aiden in my arms. Everyone begins going home and we had back into the pack house. We lay the kids down for bed as does Mark and Daniela. It’s nice to see the children together, safe and sound and back to what was once normal. Things may not go back to what they were but we can find a new normal for our family. The last thing I do is prepare a room for my mother with the help of Kat and Daniela. We put her next to Calista as they seem to have hit it off and have become fast friends. I am over the moon that I get to have this opportunity to get to know my mother and learn more about my family. There is so much I don’t know. With mom back in the picture, it seems to have changed things for Kat. Now that Kat has been spending time with our mother and her granddaughter
DavinaWhen we all heard Derek and Maliyah playing I immediately mind link the whole pack to meet at the memorial. Our family gathered at it’s entrance, tears forming in our eyes. I haven’t heard her play in a long time. As pack members began arriving I open the back doors so they can hear too and started passing out candles and lighting them. Once everyone has a candle, I teleport Maliyah and Derek next to the memorial and they don’t miss a note. Families begin stepping up to the memorial and placing beautiful flower arrangements at the base.Dimitri utters a spell under his breath and tells me the flowers will never die, they will remain frozen in time. Celestia and Calista help pass out the Chinese sky lanterns and pens so everyone can write a message or just the name of a loved one that has been lost. I make one for my uncle Gabriel and parents that raised me as they now have no one le
MaliyahI can’t believe what I woke up to. Dr. Smith has been examining me and taking MRI’s of my brain. I am still in shock at everything I am being told. Mom and dad tell me everything I appear to be forgetting. We take several breaks as I am constantly crying over things I have forgotten.I remember some of the information they are telling me but not all of it. After a while I did start to remember the day my sister died but it still doesn’t feel real. I don’t remember being in a coma before and waking up to having another little brother. Uncle Kale died as well as uncle Gabriel and I haven’t been able to accept that yet.Uncle Gabriel has been around all my life, even before I learned what I was. I never imagined I would have to live my life without him.“Ma
DavinaWe’ve been in the dragon realm for the past week; going back and forth to the forbidden realm to explore it more. We want to ensure we had all he details, which Dimitri has written down so we won’t ever forget this day we now call The Day of Retaliation. It’ll always be a day we will mourn as many loved ones were lost that day, but we fought back against my brother and won. I wish there would’ve been another way, but my brother was too far gone. Once we were sure we didn’t miss anything, Dimitri and his coven sealed the realm away forever. The shifter counsel all agreed that it will be against our laws to step foot into that realm so it was best to seal it away to stop temptation. The horse shifters have been learning about the human world as it has changed a lot than from what their ancestors had told them. Technology is a new thing for them and they will remain on bear
DavinaIt’s finally over. It’s been six years since Derek came into my life and my world was turned upside down. Six years after finding out I was not at all human. My heart mourns for those that I have lost in all that time. The parents that raised me, my uncle Gabriel, Thierry who was like a second uncle to me and my biological parents though I didn’t even know it yet.My heart hurts for my sister. She has been an empty shell since we killed Alastor. She remains at Kale’s side though his soul is no longer attached to his body. He’s gone and there is nothing I can really do to comfort her.“Mom, let’s get you something to eat and drink. Please,” begs River but Kat doesn’t respond. She continues to stare at his body and grasp his hand. I think
Davina The minute Maliyah became unconscious her swirl of power dissipated. I drop the sphere of wind and see the zombie creatures are dropping one by one. I rush to Maliyah’s side in a panic with Kat right at my heals. “Maliyah!” Her head is bleeding badly and she is not responding at all. I quickly teleport her to Dr. Smith. “What happened,” asks Dr. Smith. “She hit her head on a rock and I am afraid she used more power than she can handle.” Kat pulls me away from Maliyah to give Dr. Smith room to work and I reluctantly back away. “Davina!” I look up and see Mark and Derek running into the tent. I can feel he is just as scared as I am right now. “Thank Ryuu you are okay. What happened to Maliyah?”
Davina “Maliyah we need you,” I yell through the mind link. Kat and I are trying to finish this once and for all but we both know we won’t win without Maliyah. Alastor creates a sphere of wind around him, pushing Kat and I off of him. I quickly search the field for Maliyah and instantly see what she is doing. Her vision of Derek and Mark dying, it’s happening. “We need Maliyah,” says Kat through the link. “She is needed else where right now. We need to keep him distracted long enough for her to accomplish what is needed and return to us,” I reply. Kat doesn’t question what I mean. We trust each other completely and I know we can hold him off until Maliyah comes back. “You two are a thorn in my side. It’s time for me to be an only child,” growls out Alastor. I know we a
