Chp 6 Pt. 5 Maliyah’s Return

“Damn it Maliyah! Open your eyes,” yells Aspen as he starts to perform CPR on my daughter.
“Luna!?”
I am in shock. I am struggling to focus on my labor as I am too worried about Maliyah. She can’t die, not after holding on for so long.
“Luna! You need to push now!”
“Come on love push. I’m right here.”
I finally snap out of it and begin pushing as instructed. My world is crumbling right before my eyes. I can’t lose one child as I give birth to another. He can’t take them both from me. Derek is pouting nonsense next to me as I lock my gaze on Maliyah.
“Damn it Maliyah, don’t you dare quit on me now,” growls out Aspen.
“Push Luna!”

DavinaIt’s been hard not feeling like something is missing since Maliyah woke up, but I think we’re all coming to terms with Malayah, Keila and Owen being gone. We will always miss them but everyday seems to get a bit easier to try and move on. Maliyah still uses a cane to get around but at least she is walking. Tanisha has assured us Maliyah should fully recover as long as she keeps going to physical therapy.Maliyah has yet to tell us about her visions but Aspen told us everything. They conflict one another and we don’t know how to make the one we want come true. At least we know that Cedar’s vision was incomplete and may not even come true. For now, we are just happy to see Maliyah getting back into a normal routine with the addition of bring flowers to the cemetery at least once a week. I am not sure how long she’ll keep that up but we don’t bother her about it.
