The minute I dive into Maliyah’s mind I am surrounded by darkness. Normally I have entered a memory but not this time. I can feel she is close I just don’t know exactly where. I close my eyes and let my sense take over, trying to feel her presence. I hear her let out a cry and start running in what I am sure is her direction. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy to see her as she comes into view.
