Chp 11 Pt. 3 The Flock

Luna Camille has not been feeling well. I’ve been nervous to teleport her in her condition and her flock won’t leave without her so we’ve been stuck here for two days. Today is the first time Camille has gotten out of bed to eat. That is more that we had hoped. Losing your mate often kills you but we think the fact that she is pregnant is what is keeping her moving.

“How is she today,” Derek mind links me.

“She’s up, out of bed and eating.”

“That’s good love. We need to move as soon as possible.”

“Why? What’s wrong?”

“There has been an increase in humans disappearing around these parts. I’m concerned they will attack again.”

Derek is right. The longer we stay here the more likely they will find out we are here and attack. I send for the pack doctor to check over Camille again. I need her to be stronger so we can get out of here
