Chp 11 Pt. 5 The Flock

After mom took over fighting against her brother, Terra and I land to rest our wings and let our leg heal. We easily take out rogues that rush to attack us as we land. I even turn some of them into ice statutes before smashing them with my tail. This battle seems to drag on forever. I need to put a stop to it and I know one way that would be immediate and simultaneously put everyone down at the same time.

“Maliyah, this is a bad idea. We could hurt ourselves or worse.”

“Do you have a better idea Terra?”

Terra is silent, she knows we can end this now but hopefully not at the cost of our own lives. Aspen is far enough away from me that I can circle a tornado around me. I can feel my powers flowing through me as the wind picks up. Lightning cracks across the sky as I prepare to use that to keep everyone away from me so they can’t stop me.

“Maliyah don’t!”

I can hear Aspen as I see him strike his sword to the ground so he doesn’t blow away. I haven’t used three powers at once
