"You guys take care of yourselves," Xavier said before leaving them at the bar.

As soon as they got in, Nadia ordered a ton of alcohol.

Upon seeing her in such a state, Quinn didn't mind at all. If she wanted to drink, that was fine with her. After all, life was too short to be so strict with oneself.

"Are you feeling that down?"

"Oh, it's nothing. I'm just in the mood for a drink! You know how much I love hanging out with you over drinks," Nadia said. To her, drinking with Quinn felt really liberating with no hint of restraint.

"You're missing Ian, aren't you?" Quinn asked bluntly. She felt that there was no point pretending if you had feelings for someone.

"Yeah, I do miss him. I didn't think he'd have such a big impact on me, considering how short our time together was. I was trying to concentrate on work today, but I couldn't stop thinking about him," Nadia said. She felt really frustrated with herself for feeling this way.
