Chapter 47

Alexander, Francisco and Victor arrived at a local bar. Immediately the bar owner saw them, he started to dismiss everyone, apologizing as they left and making promises of discounts when next they came around. Although some were pissed, he didn’t care.

There was one person he did not pursue anyway, his name John, Octavio’s driver.

The three men stood at the door until everyone had left before they joined John at his table.

“Hello John.” Alexander greeted as he sat directly across John, then Francisco and Victor sat at his left and right respectively.

“I guess it was a matter of when.” John replied calmly.

Alexander wore a black jacket and had both hands tucked in the pockets. “Its worrying how someone dropped so low from the pinnacle… the first I can understand, the second? Not at all. Your debt was paid but you chose to stoop lower.” He said.

John smiled “What did you expect an old man to do?”
