Nathan's Point of View
“I think you should tell her.”
I sighed as I looked at Noah; we had been through this a hundred times. He knows my reasons for not telling Quinn that we're mates, but he won't let it drop. I'm assuming it's more to do with him having to keep a secret from Summer. “We've already been through this, Noah”.
“Yes, and I understood you not wanting to tell her at first when you thought she wouldn't believe you and would run, but things have changed. You two have got very close very fast, something which, according to Summer, is unheard of for Quinn, so I think she would believe that it's the truth. Not to mention it would stop her worrying over Xavier being her mate.”
“I get what you're saying, Noah, but I would still rather she fi
Quinn's Point of ViewThe walk to the packhouse was less than five minutes. When we walked into the packhouse, it was empty as everyone was down at the park. We went up the stairs, and I expected to head towards his office, but instead, he opened the door to his family’s suite and ushered me in. He closed the door and pushed me up against the wall, his mouth on mine a second later, his tongue teasing me. I ran my fingers through his hair, smiling into his kiss when he moaned. He slid his hands down my hips and lifted me. I could feel how hard he was, and honestly, that turned me on so much I wrapped my legs around his waist as he turned us around and walked towards his old bedroom, his mouth leaving mine to kiss my jaw and down my neck. I let out a moan I didn't even know I was capable of making as he kissed my marking spot. He pushed us through the bedroom door and
Nathan’s Point of ViewOnce I left the suite, I walked back to the BBQ to speak to Noah and to have a drink and calm down. I was still angry about Darryl and Marco and their actions earlier. As an Alpha, I need to be fair, so I will let Noah deal with them as I don’t think I could be impartial, but they definitely need to be punished. They had no business putting their hands on any girl without her permission. I was so eaten up with jealousy earlier that I never even thought about that. Then when I saw Asher kiss her forehead, I had to remind myself my brother would never cross that line with my mate. I was already angry at him for not being there when she needed him. Quinn said it wasn’t his fault, and I couldn’t stop myself smiling when I remembered her shouting at me earlier. No one speaks to me like that, and it was kind of nice and natural, an
Quinn's Point of ViewI opened my eyes and saw Nathan sleeping next to me. How the hell am I supposed to give him up. If I only have two days with him, I was going to make them count. I lay on my side and reached over and stroked his face gasping when he suddenly flipped us both over. “Is there a reason you pulled me out of my sleep?” he said, giving me a megawatt smile.“You're going to be late for training”, I told him, pointing at the clock. He looked over then jumped out of bed. “I never sleep this late I blame you”, he teased, giving me a pout. “I need to jump in the shower.”“Ok, go ahead, I’ll make you breakfast” I jumped up and tried to leave the room when Nathan grabbed me.
Nathan’s Point of ViewI phoned Liam as soon as Quinn had stormed off with Asher in tow. The jealousy and rage that bubbled up for my brother because Quinn trusted him and not me quite honestly scared me. I took out my phone and scrolled to Liam’s name. If he hadn't told her, then he could possibly know who did. He told me he had no clue as to who told her, but he would find out. He also told me to give Quinn some time to calm down; otherwise, she wouldn't talk to anyone, which Summer agreed with. I spent the rest of the day in meetings that I couldn't concentrate on. I phoned Asher a lot he said she had gone straight to her room, but every time he knocked, she ignored him. Summer went home to check on her but got the same result. Not long after I arrived home with Noah, my phone rang, and it was Liam, so I put it on
Quinn's Point of View When I woke up, I felt a lot better than I had done the previous day. Today was Saturday, only one more day to go. I would speak to Summer at training and make up with her because I hate being at odds with her, and I may have overreacted slightly yesterday and whilst I still believe they should have told me, I know that they were doing what they thought was for the best. The smell of bacon pulled me from my thoughts and from my bed. I walked into the kitchen to find Sarah at the stove. She smiled lovingly as she passed me a coffee and pushed me to the table where Asher and Tyson were eating. Asher smiled at me while Tyson gave me one of his usual nods as I sat
Nathan’s Point of View “Something is wrong,” I told my best friend as I looked down at my phone. “Quinn phoned and didn’t speak, and now she’s not answering.” “Ok, calm down, I’ll try Summer now; it was probably just a pocket dial or something”, he said as he pulled his phone out and dialled Summer’s number. I watched him try her number twice with no answer, and I was getting a bad feeling. I mind linked Asher to come to my office straight away. “I'm not saying anything is wrong, Nate they might have gone for a run, and their phones will be with their clothes, but maybe we should go and look for them anyway.&rdqu
Quinn's Point of ViewI woke up in the backseat of the car with Allie sitting in the passenger seat and the man Nigel; I think his name was driving the car. They were talking about what they were going to do with the reward money.“How far do you think £25,000 is going to get you? I asked as they both jumped at the sound of my voice.“Didn't you hear it's been doubled?” Allie told me before facing Nigel, “you, were supposed to give her enough to sleep for hours.”“I thought I did”, he snapped.“Ok, so how much do you think £50,000 is going to get you when you have two packs chasing after you.” I laughed. “You know both Alpha Liam and Alpha Nathan will come for me, so I really ho
Quinn's Point of ViewI must have fallen asleep at some point as I woke up to someone unlocking the door. I jumped up as Megan walked In with a tray of food, the smell making my stomach rumble.“You need to eat,” she told me, setting the tray down on the bed.“I’m fine, thanks,” I told her, ignoring the pangs of hunger.“I made it myself, and you need to keep your strength up.” She sighed before sitting on the bed. “I understand you may not trust me after what my sister has done, but I know Nathan. We grew up together and were friends, and if he promised your brother he would look after you, then I know he’s coming, and you need to be ready for a fight. Xavier isn’t going just to hand you over, so you need to be ready.”
Quinn’s point of viewOne year laterI was blowing up balloons as I looked around the garden. Today was the twins first birthday party, and we had decided to keep it just family. I set a picnic blanket on the ground and sat a few toys down for Sophie and Asher to play with. I still can’t believe they are one year old already; this year has flown past.Summer stepped out with her seven month old daughter Melissa. She placed Melissa with the twins and came to help me with the food. Melissa and Sophie were joined at the hip so much so that Melissa cries anytime she is taken away from Sophie. Summer and I think they are going to grow up as close as we did and always be friends. Asher or AJ, as we have taken to calling him to make it less confusing when they are both around, is usually with his uncle Asher. They have a special bond. Asher can’t go anywhere without AJ tagging along.
Quinn's point of viewWe made it to the pack hospital in record time. Asher pulled in seconds behind us, running straight for my door to help me out. Nathan soon scooped me up in his arms and rushed me into the hospital. Amy was waiting for us at the reception desk, chatting to Phoebe. Both of them had huge smiles on their faces.“How are you feeling, Quinn,” Amy asked as she ushered us into one of the private rooms.“She’s in labour; her waters broke about half an hour ago, and she’s having contractions.” Nathan barked at her.“Lay her down on the bed, and we will have a look at her.”“Where’s Emily? She should be here by now.” Nathan shouted at Amy yet again before his eyes glazed over as he mind linked Emily to hurry up.“Nate, if
Quinn's point of view“Finally here.” Summer exclaimed as the car pulled to a stop, and I saw my brother waiting on us, looking happier and more content than I had ever seen him before. I quickly jumped out of the car at the same time as Summer. Liam wrapped us both up in his arms.“I can't believe you are both having babies,” he said, his eyes filling with tears as he placed one hand on my huge bump and one hand on Summer’s tiny bump that you wouldn't know was there if you didn't think she was pregnant.“Now you have three more reasons to come visit us. Now, where is Megan?” Summer asked as she looked around and saw plenty of pack members walking about with many watching us, but Megan wasn't one of them.“She's in the main hall with Sarah, and I have been threatened to within an inch of my life to stay out of there unt
Quinn's point of view “Mate”, Asher murmured, staring at Cara. Cara wasn't looking at him; she was looking at his hand, which was still holding my arm. “Cara, this is my brother in law Asher,” I told her as I shook his arm off me, snapping her out of her trance. “Let's give them a moment to get acquainted.” Mrs Roberts said quietly as she ushered us out of the kitchen, snapping her fingers at the rest of the staff. I ran back into the dining room to our table with Summer and Nathan laughing behind me. “Liam, Mrs Roberts granddaughter Cara is Asher’s mate.” I chirped happily as I flopped down at the table. “That's great. She's a lovely girl. I really hope they're happy together.” Liam was genuinely happy for them both.&
Quinn's point of view “Quinn, Nate, wake up; that's us here.” Summer spoke softly as she leaned over from the front seat and gently shook my arm. “Sorry, I must have fallen asleep,” I told her, pulling myself up and out of Nathan's arms as he grumbled lightly when I moved away from him. “Yeah, I didn't have the heart to wake you.” she smiled, reminding me of the first time we drove to Nathan's pack, and I woke up all cuddled into him; she wore the same smile that day, and the glint in her eye told me she remembered. The door opened, and Asher leaned in with his trademark smirk as he eyed Nathan and me. “You two coming of what.” “Yes, we are” I pushed Asher back as I climbed out of the car. We followed Liam through the packhouse up to the Alpha suit. He he
Quinn's point of view Sarah made a huge picnic type spread for dinner, and we all sat around the table joking and laughing. There was no fear of being kidnapped by a crazy Alpha trying to make me his mate or a crazy girl wanting my mate. I was just having dinner with my family and friends, and it was glorious. The only downside was that I knew Liam and Megan would be going back to their pack in the morning, and although we were going with them, I knew in a day or two, depending on how long Nathan could be away from the pack, we would be leaving without them. The only consolation is that they would be together. After everything Megan has been through with her old mate, she deserves a mate that will cherish her, and Liam will do that, and I couldn't be happier that Liam would have a loving mate like Megan. “Are you ok? You are in your own wee world?” Nathan whispere
Quinn's point of view “Hey, lazybones, you planning on lying in bed the rest of the year.” Asher’s voice pulled me from my sleep; opening my eyes to look at him, I groaned when the light hit me. “It’s too bright”, I mumbled as I pulled myself up. “That’s what happens when you sleep for almost two days straight. Emily says you can go home whenever your ready.” he smiled as he sat on the chair next to me. “Where’s Nate?” I asked as I looked around and realised he wasn’t in the room. I had been sleeping on and off since I was brought to the hospital, and every time I woke, Nathan was right next to me. “I think he’s having a nap,” Asher told me, his lip twitching as he tried not to laugh. “Oh my god, Asher, what did you do?” I glared at him as he starte
Nathan's point of viewI ran for about ten minutes before I decided to head back. I didn’t want to be far away in case I was needed, but I felt like a coiled spring all wound up waiting for answers. I practically ran into the woods after speaking with Michelle. I was at odds with my wolf; he wanted to rip her apart there and then, and I had to hold him back because if I hurt or worse killed her, we may never know where she took Quinn.-Nathan, I’ve got her, heading to the hospital now- Asher mind linked me.I raced to the hospital and saw both Amy and Emily standing outside with a patient bed.“We don’t know how bad she is; he just told us he was bringer her here,” Emily told me quickly.“He’s here”, Amy cried as she raced past me.Asher held one hand up to
Nathan's point of viewI got to Michelle's house before her, which gave me time to look around; although we all agreed she would be stupid to take Quinn to her own house but I snooped anyway, hoping she might have left a clue somewhere telling us of her plans or where she might be holding Quinn. That’s if she’s the one holding her for all we knew; she came up with the plan and handed Quinn off to someone else. I sat down on the porch, my head in my hands. I’d been awake now for over twenty-four hours with Quinn being gone for over nine now, and I felt absolutely useless. The last time she was taken, we knew who by and where she was being held, so it was easy to form a plan and go get her back, and if it was only rogues that attacked, I had no doubt I would have saved her, but I hate not knowing where she is or if she’s being harmed.-Michelle is on her way up the street; she’s comin
