ALINA'S POV : Camilla and Jessica both were standing outside the elevator, watching us with shocked expressions on their faces but then it changed into something. They started to smirk after seeing how close we were as his hands are still wrapping around my waist and mine on his chest. I pushed him a little so that there will be a little gap between us and adjusted ourselves. But their smirk didn't leave their faces instead it turned into a cheeky grin as they noticed our flushed faces and their gazes darted to our lips not missing how swollen they were.Shane looked at me one last time and whispered leaning dangerously close to me, again, "Good luck!" He smirked and winked at me. And that stupid wink itself made my heart skip a beat. He just walked out of the elevator like nothing happened and left me alone with them. He f*cking left me.I didn't even have the chance to give a comeback for his not so warnings. Like seriously, 'you can't handle the consequences?' what does he think
RUDY'S POV : "What the hell Rudy? What have you done?" Nate asked, as soon as we entered the bar, our relaxing spot in our house. "Relax, Nate. He did the right thing, even though that went a bit overboard." Omar chuckled and went to fix a glass of whiskey for himself while Nate and I settled on the couch near the bar. "Damn, I kinda need this after seeing all the drama." Omar said while pouring the whiskey in the glass. I chuckled seeing my brother's nonchalant expression when Nate looks absolutely confused about Omar's calm nature. "Fix me one, bro." I said, leaning on the couch comfortably. Omar nodded. But before he fixed me a glass he picked an ice pack from the fridge and threw it to my side. "First, you need that." He pointed towards my wounded jaw and to the ice pack. Well, he is right. I should apply ice, to reduce swelling. "Why are you so calm? You guys know Shane better than anyone, still, you think what Rudy did is right?" Nate asked, arching his brows in confusion.
JESSICA'S POV : After the talk with Alina, I sent a message to Nate to come and meet me. He then replied, asking me to come to his room to talk. I went towards his room, opened the door and saw Nate there, sitting on his couch and waiting for me. He stood up with a huge smile on his face when he saw me entering the room. "F*cking finally! I thought you would take a week to talk to me again when I saw how furious you were this morning." He said while walking towards me. I rolled my eyes at him, "Oh yes, I thought that too. You actually deserve it though, after asking me that. But what can I say, I can't stay mad at you for too long, even if I wanted to." I said with a shrug. He heaved a sigh and chuckled, "I guess, I messed up big time. But, you can't blame me." "Yeah, whatever." I rolled my eyes again and chuckled. He came close to me filling the gap between us, grabbing my waist, and pulling me towards him. "Are you still mad at me?" He asked me, his voice as soft as ever. I
OMAR'S POV :"Let's go." I said with a smile."You don't have a problem, right?" She asked me, furrowing her brows. "Why would there be any? Your father just wanted to make sure that his daughter is in safe hands. After all, you have never traveled alone and he has been taking care of you. He is just worried about you, Grace. And, I can understand a father's concern about his daughter." I said and a huge smile formed on her face which made my heart flutter seeing her smile. "Thank you for understanding." She smiled brightly. I chuckled and followed her into her house. Her house looks cute just like her. Even though it is a small house, it was neatly organized. I saw a middle-aged man sitting on the couch, waiting for us. He rose from the couch when he saw us walking towards him with a smile on his face. But that smile faded when he walked closer to us. He froze, his eyes filled with shock and he looked so tensed when he saw me. "Dad, this is my boss, Mr. King." Grace introduced
OMAR'S POV : "You like her, don't you?" I was completely lost at his sudden question and looked at him arching my brows. But he has this expression on his face as if he already knows the answer to his question but wanted to confirm it by getting the answer from me. And I am not planning on denying it. I don't have to lie to him and I won't. "Yes," I answered honestly, looking straight into his eyes. A smile twitched on his face when he heard my answer. "I can see that in your eyes." He said, smiling heartfully and patting my shoulder. "And the way you talk about her earlier shows me how much you care about her. And I guess she doesn't have a clue about it, am I right?" I nodded, "Yes, I haven't told her yet and-" "And you are planning on telling her soon. Perhaps on this business trip. Right?" He finished my sentence with a smirk on his face. Exactly, how I thought about telling her my feelings. And also, why did he press on the word business as if he knew that it isn't one? "
OMAR'S POV : "That's what endangers her." He said which doesn't make any sense."What? What do you mean?" I asked him, arching my brows and looking straight into his eyes. He shook his head, "I can't say anything right now. But you will know everything once the time comes. And I can sense the time is almost there. And also the danger is closer than we think it is. Never leave her alone, Omar." He clutched both of my hands together as if he was pleading with me not to leave her side. I would never leave her side even if he asked me to. I nodded and he smiled. "Now go. She is waiting for you. I bet she would be thinking of what's happening here. Don't let her wait." He chuckled and walked out with me towards the car. Every word he said, is quite confusing. How come she is in danger? And why would it endanger her if she is not his daughter? He didn't answer my questions but added more to my list. But one thing is clear from his words. She is in grave danger and I need to protect her
GRACE'S POV : "Nervous?" Omar asked me when he saw me fidgeting my fingers continuously. Yes, I'm nervous, this is the first time I'm going to his house. Of course, I'm nervous! I nodded before answering, "A little." He smiled while taking my hand into his, and tracing my palm with the pad of his thumb. That gesture relaxed my nerves and eased my tension. He knows how to relax me with just a single gesture. A single touch from him can calm my nerves in a second, I wonder why? I smiled at him and waited for the elevator. The same elevator where Catherine tried to insult me. I wonder where she is now, I haven't seen her for a while now. Maybe she is busy. And when I thought about that incident, I remember how she defended me. Alina, she is the one who saved me from the humiliation which Catherine had planned that day. I wonder where she is now, she is so supportive and very kind. And when I look at her, I just couldn't help but wish to have a sister like her. She is the kind of si
ALINA'S POV : "What?" I gasped in shock. I was surprised to hear that my sister is here. I mean why would Sarina come here? She is still a kid and doesn't even know this place. Before I was going to ask him, Rudy moved slightly away from his spot revealing… "Grace?" I was surprised to see her and a smile played on my lips immediately after seeing her. "Hey Alina…" She waved at me with the same cute smile that I remembered when I first saw her a few days ago, which shows her cute dimples. If something matches between us then that definitely is our dimples. Apart from our physical appearance, our characters are quite different. She is a cute and innocent girl while I am completely the opposite of her. I ran towards her and hugged her tightly not giving her enough space to breathe, but she didn't complain and hugged me back with the same intensity. What can I say, I like her that much and I don't even know why I connected with her so easily just like I connected with Emily. They ar
