Chapter 66 : Change of plans?

JESSICA'S POV :

After the talk with Alina, I sent a message to Nate to come and meet me. He then replied, asking me to come to his room to talk.

I went towards his room, opened the door and saw Nate there, sitting on his couch and waiting for me.

He stood up with a huge smile on his face when he saw me entering the room. "F*cking finally! I thought you would take a week to talk to me again when I saw how furious you were this morning." He said while walking towards me.

I rolled my eyes at him, "Oh yes, I thought that too. You actually deserve it though, after asking me that. But what can I say, I can't stay mad at you for too long, even if I wanted to." I said with a shrug.

He heaved a sigh and chuckled, "I guess, I messed up big time. But, you can't blame me."

"Yeah, whatever." I rolled my eyes again and chuckled.

He came close to me filling the gap between us, grabbing my waist, and pulling me towards him. "Are you still mad at me?" He asked me, his voice as soft as ever.
