The PA was kind of surprised to see tears in her eyes. He thought that she argued with her father. But Abigail didn’t pay attention to him. She walked past him, taking brisk steps. She came out of the office, got into the car, and drove straight to Voyage Groups.
Resentment and hatred blended on her face. The attraction and weakness she had towards Xander Reid because of his resemblance to Charles had vanished from her heart. Now she had only hatred for him. She thought he was a flirtatious man but never thought he would be a cunning person who wanted to take advantage of their weakness. She would never let him take advantage of her. Changing the gear, she increased the speed of the car.
