Chapter 40

Camilla's POV

The sun peeking through my window woke me up, I threw the duvet off me, yawning before my eyes caught sight of the wall clock reading five PM isshh, I jumped down from my bed and rushed to the bathroom for a quick shower.

I came out of the bathroom and walked straight to my closet to get something on. I settled for a white floral dress, that's just above my knees before grabbing my phone and walking downstairs. I checked Andrew's room but he's not there so I figured he would be downstairs.

But when I got down, he wasn't there either, wondering where he might have gone. I decided to explore the whole house. My first stop was the backyard when Andrew said the maid was residing. The mansion was indeed a big one because just the building at the back was a huge one. A maid I don't recognize stepped out but she stopped in her tracks, eyeing me suspiciously.

I shyly waved at her but she rushed back inside and came back with Aaren, the chef. Who smiled when she saw it was me.
