149. Jealousy
"Hello" Rohit answered his phone grumbling. He was already exhausted.
"Rohit, I need you at my office." Doctor Chopra said in a disturbing tone.
Rohit got up instantly and took his coat he hung on the bathroom door.
"Where are you going?" Grandma Preeta asked.
"The doctor called, I have to check on mum." He rushed out and slammed the door behind him.
He checked his pocket for his phone but he was so much confused that he couldn't removed it from his pocket. He stopped and looked behind him and couldn't find Sonia.
"Fuck." He grumbled.
Turning back around toward the room 2-32, Rohit walked hastily as he realized Sonia wasn't with him. Leaving Sonia with grandma alone would be a complete disaster.
He hurriedly walked to the ICU and opened the door.
"Hey" He called out to Sonia who was already dozing off on the couch."Hey" She responded yawning.

Rohit’s pov Doctor Chopra told Rohit that he should spend the rest of his time beside his mother because he is not sure if she will survive the next day.
