"If my mother dies, I will cut off ties with you" those were the words rai hears Rohit yell at his father when he came out of Alia’s room, talking to his god mother has opened his eyes to a lot of things and it opened his eyes to a lot of things about life and forgiveness. He decided to talk to Rohit and instead he found him arguing with his father. Rai hated it when Rohit and his god father argued, Sharma might not be Rohit’s favorite person but he was still his god father.
He knew why Rohit hated his father, he was there for Rohit during Alia’s first suicide attempt, it broke Rohit and it cemented his hatred for his father especially when it didn't even seem like he cared enough to know what is going on with his wife.
