Samantha's POV

I didn’t talk to him when I woke up. I wasn’t in the mood. While messaging Windy to thank her for sending me home last night, she asked if Diego and I were okay. I told her we hadn’t talked. Windy is actually funny, and she also likes going to parties. Maybe that’s why I became close to her in just one day.

He told me to change my clothes because we’d be having lunch outside. I did what he wanted, but I still didn’t talk to him.

"Are you not going to talk?" he asked while driving. I chose to sit in the backseat.

"Where do you want to eat?" he asked me again, but I kept myself busy on my phone, acting like he didn’t exist. His phone rang, and when I glanced at it, I noticed he hadn’t changed his wallpaper. I smiled bitterly.

Why did I forget? He’s still into Jasmine.

He parked the car, and I didn’t wait for him to open the door for me. I got out and walked straight into the restaurant.
