Samantha's POV

I am sitting on the couch while he's messing up his hair. I sighed before standing up and was about to go to the room when he spoke.

“Is this how you behave? Look at yourself,” he said, sounding mad. I didn't ask him to come to that party. I didn't even ask him to fetch me.

“What's wrong? Why are you so mad?” I asked him. He was busy with his business. What did he expect me to do? Stay in this condominium?

“Look at yourself, dressed up like that while others are staring at you,” he pointed at me. My forehead knotted in disdain. Is he saying that I'm intentionally attracting guys' attention?

“Listen, Diego, I'm not a kid anymore. I know what I’m doing,” I tried to stay calm. He messed up his hair again.

“You're no different from them,” I heard him say. My blood boiled instantly because of what he said.
