I stared at the woman of my life. She was still sleeping peacefully. I couldn’t stop myself from gazing at her all day. If only I could take her somewhere—just the two of us—where no one could hurt her. I got scared when her friends called me, worried about her sudden disappearance. I already knew something had happened to her.

I was in the middle of an important meeting that day, but when Jane called me using Samantha's phone, I didn’t hesitate to leave.

I know it’s a big loss that I didn’t finish the meeting, but it would be an even bigger regret if something had happened to Samantha.

It was easy to track where she was because I had installed a tracking device on her phone. She doesn't know about it. I just want to always know where she is.
