Samantha’s POV

I just wore jeans and paired them with shoes the same color as my shirt.

I looked at Diego, standing by the window, leaning his back while staring at me as I put on my light makeup.

“You don't have to wear that. You're always gorgeous without makeup on,” he uttered. I smiled.

“Thanks, but no,” I told him. He frowned. He held my waist and pulled me closer to him.

“It won't take long,” he uttered. I shook my head; that's what he said earlier, but it takes us an hour. Isn't he tired?

“Let's go, I'm hungry,” I told him. We actually decided to eat out today since it's the weekend.

I heard him let out a heavy sigh while walking outside the house. He opened the door for me, and after that, he went inside.

I actually forgot to tell him that I went to our house yesterday. He was worried about me, so he went to our house. Of course, my parents talked to him. When we got home, he punished me for making him worry. A punishment that was..
