Chapter 4~Escaping an Angel's hell~

      Sean hugged me and I hugged him back. Just then Hannah walked in steaming angrily and Sean hid behind me, "give me the brat right now!!" She yelled and I shook my head. She got mad, slapped me, and tried grabbing Sean but I kicked her chest making her stumble back. I didn't mean to do that, and my instincts made me get up and say "I-I didn't mean to I'm sor-"I didn't mean to do that, and my instincts made me get up and say "I-I didn't mean to I'm sor-"

But she clearly didn't want to hear it because the damn woman grabbed me by my throat and threw me down on the ground and started to choke me. I coughed and wheezed yelling "crazy bitch get off me!!!!" She didn't stop though, Sean was too scared to move, but I saw him flinch when I coughed up blood. Sean snapped and tackled Hannah making her let go while I kicked her to the ground, I reacted so I forgot about Sean but luckily, he jumped off her before that anyway

I had slammed my door shut because I kicked her into the hallway and I locked my door, I knew I would really die if I let her in. So, I told Sean to come here, and I whispered "Mommy is not being good right now so she. Needs a time out, and we can get ice cream, ok?" He nods and I tell him to go by the window and I use my bed to border the door, after that, I started to pack and grabbed some of my clothes and bunny food. I asked Sean to hold Shadow (the bunny) while I got his stuff out of his dresser, he nodded, and the bunny fell asleep in his head like normal.

I got some random clothes from his dresser and packed his favorite stuffed animal -and my hidden money stash with 520 dollars-and went to the window. (If you are confused- they share a room) I thought and focused hard and mumbled "please work one more time, heavens and earth please give me strength right now" Suddenly wings came out and she knew she didn't know how to fully fly yet but she needed to try, So, I told Sean to come here, and I whispered "Mommy is not being good right now so she. He laughs and I fly off with him, my Bunny, and the bag in my arms. It was a bit bumpy for a sec, but everyone was ok, and I flew towards the forest and kept flying without a break. I knew the wings wouldn't last forever so I looked around and finally saw a cave opening that was mostly hidden and I landed there, I set Sean's and everything down and told him to stay here and to be quiet. I sneak in and check the place, seems like no one was there so I let Sean come in and I brought the bags while the bunny was still on his head. I made a small bed with the blankets and told Sean to get some rest while I would watch the entrance, he nodded and cuddled up with shadow I sat on the ledge and looked at the sky, it wasn't nighttime yet, but At least I got to see the sunset.

I stood up and went into the cave to get fifty dollars then left the cave to the nearest liquor store with my hood on, once I got there, I greeted the cashier and made sure my hands were out of my pockets and that my jacket zipper was open, so it didn't look like I was carrying anything, which luckily, he looked like he trusted me. I bought a few small and not too sugary snacks and drinks and went to pay, he said have a wonderful day but then suddenly grabbed me by my shirt and said "You smell familiar~" I thought shit, another demon? But then he smiled and let go whispering, "sorry your majesty I was joking around." I was confused until he laughed and spoke "Don't worry I'm on yours AND the demon's side" He smiled putting his finger on his lips and winked at me. I blinked in surprise and thought-oh dear

He gave me some free food and said, "may I walk you home?" I was still in a daze, so I ended up saying yes, but then he realized why I was all covered as he looked at the tv. "Ah, so you ran away" I flinched and looked at the tv which had the news saying "missing boy being taken by a monster" My shoulders dropped and I mumbled "M-monster?" The angel grabbed my shoulder "she's a human and seems to hate you, she doesn't understand" He lifts my chin and says "your no monster, you're an angel" I blushed and pulled my face away "by the way I was dazed I didn't mean to say-" He stops me and nods "I know your situation now, so I understand but please take these He gives me a pocket knife, a backpack with clothes, a bag with food, and a gun.

I was surprised and was about to ask until he shushed me again " I know the whole legend of how you and your lover of lost your memories, but I can't explain everything yet so please take this and come back two nights later ok? I shall give you more and there's also some hair dye and contacts for if you desire to work here" He winks and I stutter but then just nod, "I may not know you but I'm grateful, thank you" He nods and I leave with the bags and backpack, and with my hood up. I was smiling until I saw the vines, which were covering the cave, were moved aside. I carefully peaked in and had the pocketknife in my hand, but what I saw scared me more than I had ever been scared. There was a demon holding Sean by his arm and sniffing him.
