“What do you mean by that, Damien?” Thomas asked while looking at Damien, same with both Sophia and Howard.

“It's not possible for me to find a spot for her in the company.” Damien replied with a cold tone.

“How isn't that possible? Sophia has been working abroad for more than a year plus. I believe she has good potential and the most important fact is that she is the daughter of my acquaintance.” Thomas stated, hoping that this information he just said would be enough to change Damien's mind. Although this was the first time he would be interfering or asking Damien to do something like this, he had to because he was hoping that Sophia would become his future grand-daughter-in-law one day. So all this effort was to benefit him in the future.

“She might be your friend's daughter, but no preferential treatment will be given to her, so if she wants to work in the company she has to go through the normal procedures. There are other people more befitting for the spot she would be taking in
