She’s Out on the Woods

"You look great, ma’am!"

I looked at myself in the mirror. I briefly informed Knight that I was leaving. Actually, I left him because he’s kind of busy with some of his work as well. We have been here for almost a week. The other people also went home earlier yesterday. Amos stayed here in the rural while Lucas took Erin home again.

Now I had time to tour other places. I just said goodbye to Knight and I just bought something, but I saw this parlor, so I thought of getting a haircut. I cut my hair shorter. It used to be long and beautiful every time I curled it, but now it's only up to my shoulder. There were curtain bangs, and it made my eyes stand out.

I don’t know. I feel like I need a little change in myself now that I’m starting anew. I didn’t even think about whether Knight would like it. I just want to change something about myself.
