Chapter 1

It is Rene's first day at Livingstone University, Texas.

Livingstone University is where most students in Texas who are able to go to college, study.

It has most of the bachelor courses that most parents would like their children to take.

Here is where most of his target is studying; he has a list of their names and courses.

He came prepared with a portfolio of each of his targets, name, age, course, and all the basic information he needed to get into their skirts.

Since they are mostly his brothers' age, they are ahead of him. Course he has a few on his list that has the same age as him, one of those is his dirt-playing ex-girlfriend.

Today he wears a color black JAG T-shirt, a pair of dark blue jeans, and black sneakers. A regular Joe I'll say, only that he wears eyeglass and he snaps his backpack on his left and right arms like an elementary student.

Unlike his old school, he blends in naturally here. While at his previous school, everybody knows him, not just because he came from a well-off family, but also because he is the younger brother of Nicholas Fridge the badass guy who lives in the wealth and fame of his good old parents.

Nic is known for being a playboy he has girls chasing after him, dating left and right, fighting here and there. Nic is also the bad boy in the family, but because he is the firstborn he has the privilege of being forgiven for whatever he does. Even the time he was busted for bringing weeds in school, he was bailout by his parents. Lucky for him he has his mother who babies him every time. While Rene is the one who will take the blame, and on top of that be laughed at by Nic for being pathetic.

Rene is the total opposite of Nic, a weakling; as his brother calls him. Though he really can fight, he doesn't want to, all because he wants to be free. He needs to suffer and take in all the humiliations just to make sure his parents will send him to the university in the city; the place where all his plans will take place.

Being the underdog was never his first choice, but in the end, he doesn't have an option.

Little do they know that Rene really considers this as tactics. For him, he was really never humiliated, because in the first place he doesn't care about anyone's opinion of him. As a kid maybe he was emotionally battered by his parents and the people around them without them knowing. But these experiences made him stronger to the point when he was able to say 'I don't care' and mean it.

All that matters for him is how to escape from his parent's home because as long as he's in there he won't be able to take his revenge. 

The old Fridge couple are old fashion people. They are not even open to using gadgets, because apparently, they said that 'during their time, they were able to finish their study without the help of technology. Well, I guess he can't blame them, they've been stuck in the countryside since forever, and though many times they travel out of the estate it is solely for business purposes. The only technology allowed is an android phone, it's not even on the top end, but it does what its intended purpose is.

Rene doesn't have class today, what they have is an orientation that they need to attend as it is compulsory, so however boring it is he has to be there. The auditorium is big; it's almost as big as their campus back home. The number of students can't be compared, nor thus is the type of chair they’re sitting on, it’s like they're on for a movie treat or something. It’s a cushion type that makes you feel comfortable, though it is incomparable to his gaming chair inside his secret room.

The speaker is an old lady with, short and stout with an apple shape hair, she wears a color kaki pairing uniform, and she has a clutch bag that she holds on while she speaks.

With her on the stage are faculty members, teachers, and some other pep that he can't even see in his sit. The auditorium has a full speaker that makes you hear whatever the speaker says even you are at the far end, which in his case it is louder since he is near one of the speakers.

He was about to sleep when his sit mate elbowed him and pass him a paper. He fixes his glasses, sniffs a little before looking into the paper.

It was an attendance sheet; he signed his name before passing it on to the lady sitting beside him.

He is sitting beside his classmates; the girl beside him is your typical noisy chatterbox who chirps like a bird together with the one beside her. The never-ending talk about Selena Gomez is almost nerve-wracking, for someone who doesn’t watch MTV it pains his ear.

After the very long monologue of whosoever that old woman is, he heard everyone clap.

Then the moment he has been waiting to arrive, he took a notebook and jot down every detail he can get, the faculty members and the professor introduced themselves one by one.

He had specially marked some names on his notes, names that he ought to search.
