One of her powers was activated. She walks forward, her golden hair shining brightly, touching a little bird statue placed on a table and bringing it to life.
Deuce sits on the floor, the blood dripping badly on his head soaked his clothes. "Her hair can do that" he muttered. Just as Elise was about to get to him, her energy drained out. She slumped down, her hair stopped shining, and a clear blue light took the room. Deuce went to her side holding his head with a hand. He bent down and saw a blue blood drop from her mouth and disappear. He stood up and went to the door but turned back and carried her back to the bed. He lays her gently on it, his hands brushing past her golden hair. He couldn't stop himself from staring deeply at Elise's sleepy eyes. Lucas suddenly barges in with some omegas alongside Bruno. "I heard a loud noise coming from this room and tried opening the door but found it locked, are you okay, Alpha? Deuce quickly averted his gaze on Elise and shifted away from her. "I'm okay" his voice coming out in a little bit stuttering. "Alpha, your clothes are full of blood," Lucas said with a worried face "I'm okay, call the pack doctor." With that, Deuce went out of the room leaving Lucas and the others confused about what happened. Under the Ocean.................. Gabrielle visits Aclan, the underwater coven. They are known for their powers that can fish out any hidden place or person and can easily transform into any supernatural being. "Her majesty would soon be with you" a male witch bowed at Gabrielle Gabrielle simply nodded at him and returned her attention to the palace filled with nothing else but blue pearls. Witches of different species can be seen around. Right in the middle of the hall, is a large waterfall, the power source of the underwater witches. "Everything just as I left it," she thought to herself The grand door suddenly opened, revealing a few witches dressed in a blue robe. Everyone stopped and bowed except Gabrielle. Amaya, the Aclan queen came to view. A crown perfectly sitting on her white hair that was packed into a bun, her golden robes sweeping the floors as she walked forward. Upon seeing Gabrielle, her face widened with smiles. They both embrace each other. "Too.....tight," Gabrielle's voice came out in a whisper. "Sorry," Amaya was beaming with smiles, and her eyes suddenly changed color. After several embraces, Gabrielle holds Amaya's hands "I need your help" "Let go to my room". Amaya grabbed Gabrielle's hand and took her to her room. She put down her crown and took out her hairpins made with pearls, letting her hair flow freely. Then she took off her royal robe, left with the under-robe, and sat beside Gabrielle. "What's wrong" "Elise has been kidnapped" Amaya's eyes suddenly change their color. "What!" "By who?" "How?" "When?" Deuce. That was all Gabrielle could say before tears started flowing down her face. "I couldn't protect her from the werewolves." She said in between her tears. Amaya pulled her into her arms, patting her back. Her body, tenses at the thought of the werewolves. They killed her elder brother and two of the witches. "We will find her, I promise." Back at the werewolf's den, Elise is given an antidote by the pack's doctor, Ethan. Lucas stood beside Bruno with his arms crossed, anger rising inside him. "This is getting out of hand" "What is?" Bruno asked "Alpha is taking care of her more these days. The omegas were assigned to take care of her, and now she's getting treated by the pack doctor even before Alpha. She's been giving the treatment of a welcomed guest." He muttered, his voice slowly raising. "She's Alpha's guest, so she's welcome. Also, you know better than to disobey Alpha's orders." Bruno went out with Ethan, leaving him behind with Elise. Lucas walked over to Elise, scanning her face. "We'll see about that." He said before exiting the room. Ethan starts packing his med skits after attending to Deuce:"... You should rest, Alpha." Hmm, Deuce nodded. "Do you know anything wrong with her.? His voice can barely be heard "I don't know anything about her kind but I do notice one thing." Deuce raised his head to look at Ethan. "A new kind of power is within her. Also, golden blood is what came out when I pricked her. I've never seen such blood, but I do know only a true heir of the coven carries it." Deuce'seyes averted from him lost in thoughts "I would take my leave now." Ethan bowed before going out of the room leaving Deuce. Deuce's mind kept replaying the scene earlier, how her hair changed its color and the blue drop from her mouth. "She must be in pain." He quickly shrugged off the thought, "She's a threat, Deuce, let's not forget that.* "Her lunar power must be awakening." He thought before leaving the room. Gabrielle left the Aclan coven with two witches accompanying her. She stopped by the boat she and Elise always played with whenever they visited Amaya. Her heart ached at the remembrance of the young Elise smiling and calling her names. She quickly wiped off the drop of tears on her face and came out of the water, heading to her coven. Ravian coven was silent, every witch's mind occupied with the incident happening. "She's awake." Ava, the youngest witch in the coven voice rang loudly across the coven. They all rushed to her side, each of their faces beaming with smiles at the sight in front of them. "How are you feeling, dear." Eve's voice was filled with nothing but worries and happiness. "I'm okay Aunt." Sophia's face was pale, her lips slightly purple, and her red hair now darker. Her eyes scanned for someone among the other witches. "She's yet to be found." Eve's voice dropped slowly. Sophia's gaze went back to Eve, her teary eyes meeting Elise. Eve pulls her into her arms, gently stroking her back. "We'll soon find her." The coven remained silent once again until when the door opened. "Sophia!" Gabrielle rushed to her. "Are you okay? She added, fighting the urge to cry, at least not in front of the whole coven. "Thank you for coming back to us" "I'm sorry, Your Highness, I couldn't save her," Sophia said in between her tears. "It's not your fault, if anyone is to blame, I should be held responsible. I couldn't protect you two. You did your best in saving her, it was meant to happen." Gabrielle comforts her, muttering the last part to herself as she holds Sophia's face in her palms. "Go prepare her bath and some dishes" Gabrielle instructed the other witches. Eve and the other witches went downstairs with Sophia and Gabrielle headed to her room. Her feet suddenly stop at the entrance of the source room, and a strange feeling develops inside her. She opened the door, her eyes fixed on the large lamp shaped like the moon with the little globes representing each of the witch's powers attached to it. She walked towards Elise's power globe, her golden light surpassing the others. Gabrielle creases her brows, stepping forward. "Golden?" Suddenly the light started flickering This could only mean Elise's safety barrier bracelet has been cut off. Without thinking, she wrapped her hair around the globe, chanting spells. Her hair healing magic flowing to the globe. After some minutes of chanting spells, the light stopped flickering, and the room exploded with power, sending Gabrielle to the walls. "What was that?" "I think it's coming from the source room." Gabrielle lay on the floor unconscious, with blood dripping from her mouth. Her blue hair is now black. "Elise" she muttered before passing out. Eve and the other witches entered the room. "Your Highness." She rushed to her side and ordered the bodyguards to carry her out of the room. A few hours ago.................. A figure walked into Elise's room. His dark hair fit perfectly into the darkness of the room. He walked over to Elise's sleeping figure with a pair of scissors already dipped inside a newborn werewolf's blood. His sinister smile was visible as he cut the bracelet off her wrist. "Sleep tight" he muttered Suddenly, the light turned on, and his face came into view.Gabrielle sat cross-legged on her bed, her eyes closed, and her hands clasped together around one of Elise's ornaments. She focused on her breath, clearing her mind, and reaching out with her senses. She tried to connect with Elise, to feel her energy. Maybe this time, she might get something. Her mind expanded, searching for that familiar spark that was uniquely Elise. At first, there was nothing. Only a dull, space where Elise's presence should have been. She sighed in frustration but continued. Suddenly, a faint hum filled her mind, and Gabrielle felt a jolt of recognition. Elise was there, but her energy was weak, fragmented, and laced with fear. Gabrielle's eyes snapped open, and she felt a surge of alarm. Something was wrong. Elise was in trouble. She was in danger before, but this felt more dangerous, and for her to sense her, she must be near. That means she must have escaped. Gabrielle's mind was racing with possibilities, her heart pounding with a sense of urgency. S
As the shadowy figures closed in, Elise's instincts screamed at her to run. But her legs felt heavy as if they were rooted to the spot. Lucas's eyes seemed to gleam with amusement, and he took a step closer to her. "Welcome to our little family," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I think you'll find us as a very...hospitable bunch." Elise's eyes darted around the clearing, searching for an escape route. But the figures had formed a semi-circle around her, trapping her. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. He was tall, with piercing blue eyes and jet-black hair. He regarded Elise with a calculating gaze, and she felt a shiver run down her spine. "Ah, Victor," Lucas said, with a nod. "I see you've brought the rest of the pack." Victor's eyes narrowed. "What's going on here, Lucas?" he growled. "You said you are going to bring that witch." Lucas smirked. "Yes. Introducing you to the princess of destruction." His voice dripped with sarcasm as he introduced Eli
"He's coming this way" "What? You said he would be distracted with his meeting.""I guess the meeting ended quicker than I thought."The steps grew closer and Lucas pulled Elise into a corner. "Shut your damn mouth, or you will be sacrificed today." Lucas covered her mouth with his hands and waited until Deuce and a few guards passed."We have to move fast. He's heading to his room, it's only a matter of time until he notices you're gone." He removed his hands from her mouth and dragged her to the exit. The guard at the entrance was his ally judging by how quickly he opened the door without asking any questions. They reached outside and for the first time in weeks, Elise felt a sense of freedom. The air that hit her skin made her feel alive and eager to get back to her coven. She was too lost in this thought that she didn't hear Lucas. "What?""I said I hope you can run."Lucas sighed when Elise didn't respond. "You're not that princess who can't run in a gown, are you?"Elise sco
"Soon, you'll be begging for mercy, and I'll enjoy watching you suffer." Deuce's threat echoed in Elise's mind long after he left the room. She felt a chill run down her spine as she wondered what he had planned for her. She knew she was going to die eventually but she hoped for a change of fate. As she sat on the couch, trying to calm her racing thoughts, she heard the sound of footsteps outside. The door opened, and Lucas walked in without knocking. "Asshole," Both he and Deuce. "I see Alpha paid you a visit," he said, his eyes scanning the room. "You seem to forget this is his room." Elise didn't look at him. "And you've also forgotten I'm his beta." He smirked when Elise didn't respond. Lucas's expression turned grim. "You're a valuable asset to him," he said. "He'll stop at nothing to keep you here. After all, you're a threat." The word threat rang in Elise's mind again. "Threat. " She scoffed and looked at Lucas, their eyes on each other. "You all claimed you fe
"Good," Deuce said, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "I want you to spread it around the perimeter of our den. Make sure it's undetectable." Lucas nodded and turned to leave. Deuce watched him go, his mind already turning to the next phase of his plan. The water witches were getting closer, and he needed to be prepared. Meanwhile, Chloe and Elise made their way back to their quarters, still shaken by the encounter with Monica. "I'm sorry about what happened," Chloe said, as they stepped inside. "I shouldn't have taken you to the pool." Elise shook her head, still coughing up water. "It's not your fault," she said. "I'm just glad we got out of there before things got worse." Chloe nodded, "We need to be more careful," she said. "Monica's is evil, she does bully others and gets away with it. I hope you find a way to get out of here, sooner." Elise's eyes narrowed, "I hope so too. I still have things to fulfill. My aunt would be in deep sorrow including my best friend."
I moved closer and I didn't stop even though my mind was screaming stop. As if to tempt me more, she licked her lips and it brought the pinkness more. I swallowed hard and quickly stood up, not allowing any room for temptation. I looked at her again, and a part of me wanted to stare at her forever. Before I do anything stupid, I step away from it and head to the bathroom. Elise and Chloe sit at the table with poker cards. They stare at each other, none of them giving themselves away. "It's your turn. Go ahead" Chloe smirked. Elise stared at her card and pulled out a king card. "Get that" She chuckled "Hey." A few minutes later, they finished the third round of the game. Chloe went out of the room to get some snacks. She sat down and started bringing the snacks out of the mini basket; underneath were two books she had picked from her room. Elise picked one, attracted by the cover. "Be careful, that book made me shed rivers." Chloe smiled "Why would you cry over a book?
