Gabrielle sat cross-legged on her bed, her eyes closed, and her hands clasped together around one of Elise's ornaments. She focused on her breath, clearing her mind, and reaching out with her senses. She tried to connect with Elise, to feel her energy. Maybe this time, she might get something. Her mind expanded, searching for that familiar spark that was uniquely Elise. At first, there was nothing. Only a dull, space where Elise's presence should have been. She sighed in frustration but continued. "I shouldn't have taken you to the pool." Elise shook her head, still coughing up water. "It's not your fault," she said. "I'm just glad we got out of there before things got worse." Chloe nodded, "We need to be more careful," she said. "Monica's is evil, she does bully others and gets away with it. I hope you find a way to get out of here, sooner." Elise's eyes narrowed, "I hope so too. I still have things to fulfill. My aunt would be in deep sorrow including my best friend."

I moved closer and I didn't stop even though my mind was screaming stop. As if to tempt me more, she licked her lips and it brought the pinkness more.
