CHAPTER ONE

-TITANIA-The evening sky was unusually murky, with no night luminaries visible. A strong breeze blew, signaling that bad weather was on the way, but the people of Harrington were unconcerned as they crammed and made noise on the busy street. Over a minute, I stormed out of my apartment in sweatpants, a white t-shirt, and sneakers, my hands tucked into the pockets of my hoodie. I joined the crowds and took the shortest route to work. "Heck," I muttered under my erratic breathing, not in the mood to walk 'cause I needed to take my big bike to the mechanic earlier to fix some problems. I could call a cab, but the drivers I'd previously encountered were either jerks or perverts, therefore, walking was a better option to avoid spilling blood on worthless people. That was my thought as I turned to an ally, unaware that three unfamiliar men were following me. They appeared on my side and dragged me into a dark, disgusting, and stinking nook when they saw an opportunity. I was taken abac

CHAPTER TWO

-TITANIA-There was one thing I couldn't get away from the last few days. Alcohol. Being dumped by my boyfriend and left with a mountain of debt stinks! I had no choice but to keep drinking until I passed out."Get out of here!"Christ! And that woman's voice only aggravated my hangover. I was extremely intoxicated the other night and crashed at my mother's house.Closing my eyes tightly, I went back to sleep and completely ignored her. Just as I was about to snooze, I felt a sharp object stab my left arm, which was resting on top of my face. I got up from the long sofa in the middle of the living room with a loud hiss."What the hell!" I grumbled through my teeth, pulling a chef knife from my flesh and tossing it away. Sniggering, I reached for my backpack, took out a clean white shirt, and wrapped it around my injured arm."I said get out!" the woman screamed, sprinting towards me from the kitchen door and slapping me across the face. The impact rang in my ear, and I winced. 'Fuck!

CHAPTER THREE

-Titania-A powerful blow hit my face.'Oh, sweet Goddess!'As I stumbled backward, I mentally grumbled and shook my head, suddenly seeing stars and black dots in my vision. My knees weakened, and I immediately relied on my legs to support my weight. I was still dizzy and disoriented when I received another smack and a hard kick to the chest. What the fucking shit! There was a loud cracking sound inside my body, and then I flew into the cage wall. My back collided with the metal, and I collapsed to the floor in agony. As I curled into a ball, the audience outside the cage shouted in exhilaration."Hurts!" I was wailing not because of the beatings I had received from my opponent, but because of the sorrow in my heart. It was my grandfather's funeral that morning. The only nice person who ever made me feel wanted. Who took care of me after my mother rejected me and sent me to the villa? And, as Liz previously stated, he is my favorite old man.Rather than attending the funeral, I spent

CHAPTER FOUR

-SPRING VALLEY-(Third POV)In the middle of Spring Valley's wilderness, there was a sizable private property that was off-limits to regular people. It was surrounded by barbed wire and iron fences, which piqued the interest of passers-by hunting for wild animals. They occasionally attempted to sneak in but were quickly apprehended by the men patrolling and securing the entire area.An old man witnessed a human transforming into a large dog one day, and word spread. They eventually avoided that section of the woods because they were afraid of disturbing the entity or whatever lurked there.Without anyone's knowledge, the land is home to more than just an element, but also a pack of werewolves led by a volatile alpha. And at that moment, his loud grumble blended in with the insect and bird's screech. Thanus Morgan, the Dark Moon pack's alpha, appeared disgruntled. Everyone could hear his voice booming inside the packhouse, and later, a wooden table flew out of his office window and sma

CHAPTER FIVE

- Titania-My brows tangled, forming thin lines on my forehead. My legs came to a halt as the corners of my mouth drew down.'What now? Is my late grandfather certain of his last will? That he would like me to stay in that place for a month? To be honest, I assumed the structure in front of me was an abandoned house or something, but it wasn't based on the masculine male species standing so tall in the cabin's door."Are you going to stand there all night, woman?" he asked abruptly.'Damn.' I mentally cursed and flinched. 'His voice, like his body, is manly. It's deep and cold.' Something in it almost made me shiver, but I pretended he did not affect me. A soft hum broke out from my lips before I pointed at myself. "Are you talking to me?" I inquired, scanning his entire physique for a quick assessment. His stature is impressive, and he has a well-toned body. He's wearing only a pair of jersey shorts, allowing me to admire openly his perfectly carved abs.The man's left brow arched

CHAPTER SIX

- THIRD POV- (Dark Moon pack)Thanus Morgan's inner wolf throwing a fit was something he was unable to handle. Consequently, Kaede paced back and forth to the back of his head causing his lips to press to a thin line."Let's go back to our mate!" his wolf muttered, a hint of anger in his grizzled voiceAfter the heated conversation with Titania, the alpha left her at the cabin and went to the packhouse to hear Neru's report.Leaning back on his chair, Thanus sighed heavily. Even though he disliked having someone other than Kaede tell him what to do, he could still feel the irritation seeping into his veins. "Restrain yourself, mutt. I would never allow the Moon Goddess to manipulate us, even if that woman is our mate."In anger, Kaede hissed back at him, but Thanus immediately raised the barrier on his mind and silenced him before he could initiate a fight. He took another deep breath and composed himself before standing up

CHAPTER SEVEN

(TITANIA'S POV)Was it only a dream? I disliked being interrupted in my sleep, so when someone pulled me up, I let out a groan. How inebriated was I the previous evening? Why do I feel as though I've consumed a gallon of booze after just one bottle of tequila?"Go back to sleep, drunken bitch," a voice murmured as my stomach twisted and I squirmed, but a pair of warm arms supported me.Huffing in opposition, I did what I was instructed because my head was pounding terribly. That was the last thing I could remember until I awoke the following morning'Heck!' With the worst hangover of my life, I inwardly muttered, "I don't want to drink alcohol anymore." I massaged my temple. Then, I shifted to the side and hugged the pillow. My brows furrowed as something warm and hard was squeezed by my long arm. My eyes suddenly opened to find a man on my bed holding onto my waist. Only the blanket covered his lower torso; he had no shirt on.My eyes opened and my face reddened as my hangover dissi

CHAPTER EIGHT

(THIRD POV)Thanus caught a glimpse of Titania coming up behind him. He had a good idea why she was angry and that it had something to do with him. He was overcome with the thought that he had irritated her in some way.Titania Summer's eyes narrowed and shone with intense rage, demanding, "Give my earrings back!"She had the attitude that you shouldn't touch her property, and Thanus mentally sighed as her rough behavior challenge him.Feisty! He and Kaede wouldn't deny the attraction he felt toward Titania's tenacity. The 25% werewolf who he claims to be his mate is not easily intimidated by his alpha male aura. And she appeared even more fascinating at that point. He couldn't, however, let her know how much she means to him.Thanus shook his head and sniggered, "Forget those horrible earrings. Without those stupid awful embellishments, she actually looks more lovely.Titania appeared to be even more furious as she sauntered in his direction more quickly. Then she snarled, "That's it

CHAPTER NINE

- TITANIA- The day was bright and warm when an unidentified woman with blonde hair entered the cabin like a queen bitch wearing a body-hugging dress and a pair of designer high heels sandals that could dig a hole with each step. She arched her brows to practically the top of her skull when she saw me, instantly raising the humidity. Her eyes swept every inch of my body as she evaluated me, likely in an effort to scare me.She clearly didn't like me, so I was forced to spend the entire noontime outside sitting on a bench beneath a tree and glancing over at the jerk and his guest who was sitting on the couch in the living room.I didn't mean to be nosy, but as I discreetly observed their tender moments, my stomach turned with contempt. Thanus Morgan kissed me a little over an hour ago. How was it that he could then flirt with other women? My face scrunched up, and I shook my head. The blonde girl's behavior toward the beast suggests that she is more than simply a casual friend. She is

CHAPTER TEN

-TITANIA-We were strolling past what Neru termed pack houses when he gave me a bottle of cold water. After finishing my meal, I decided to view the beautiful countryside outside rather than continue to have my breakfast in the opulent but chilly mansion."Thanks, buddy," I muttered in a contented voice and slouched down on a bench under a large tree not far from the playground where the children were playing. Then, because I felt so full, I patted my middle. 'I guess I ate a lot.'Because I haven't eaten since the morning. I neglected to realize how hungry I was since I was too focused on confronting Thanus about my missing earrings.Neru caught my attention as he started a conversation before sitting on my side leaving a big space between us. "I believe that you are Henry Summer's granddaughter and you're staying with the Alpha in his cabin, right?" he inquired. Even though I frowned at the way his voice quavered when he mentioned Thanus Morgan, I refrained from commenting out of re
