TRYING TO ESCAPE

Avery's POV

I am out of the den with the keys to the den in my hands as i run out of the den's entrance. Alex screams "You bitch! I will make sure that you pay for this! Get back here while there is still chance for you to repent"

I turn to regard gim before taking my last step out of his view. He is stretching his right hand outside and motioning for me to come back. I would be a fool to go back in there. I had been there for days. Freedom tastes so good.

Hsi face rolls into a snicker as he huffs. "You do not know the danger that you are putting yourself into you fool!" He bellows. If he gets a hold of me now, i would lose a tooth or two.

"Bye Alex!" I wave at him and take steps out of his view. The last thing I hear from him is "You scum! Alpha Devon won't just kill you! You will ne hung upside down!"

The thought of that hastens me. I run as fast as i can. His temperance would be enough to roast a turkey. I totally understand how he must have felt to be deceived l
