"Kaerlia!" I exclaimed embracing her into a warm hug, her smile was weak and faltering and her eyes were red as if she had been crying for a long time.

"Let's not talk about that, shall we?" She asked, sniffling and I nodded. If avoiding the conversation made her feel better then she would forget what she noticed.

"How have you been, Jannah?" I sighed at her question. I didn't know what to tell her exactly.

The fact that I've been having more nightmares of my daughter?

Or that my hand has been trembling more lately?

Or the fact that trying to transform into my wolf makes me faint.

"I'm fine, have you had something to eat?" I asked her as I pulled her into the second kitchen in the Palace. It was barely used but Jannah used it regularly.

"Wow, I never knew the palace had a place like this," Kaerlia said in awe.

"There are a lot of cool places you don't know about."
