When I stir awake, I find myself in an all too familiar room. I can recognize those circle patterns up the ceiling, which only belong to my room. I was alive and most probably in my room. When I try to sit down, one thing is I feel my whole body aching and second, there is someone beside me.
What surprises me is that the person is my mom.
"Lyka," she murmurs as soon as she stumbles awake.
"Oh baby, you are finally awake." she coos.
I can see the wary face and how tired she really looks at the moment.
"How long have I been out?" I ask sitting down ignoring the pain.
