Chapter Ninety-Four

THIRD PERSON

Sam couldn't stand not seeing Samar for so long. She was worried about him - how he was coping in the station. She decided to pay him a visit to know and see for herself.

"Thank you so much for coming to see me, Sam. It means a lot," Samar appreciated immediately he saw Sam. He was truly grateful she had not forgotten about him and was visiting him. He was contented with the fact alone. He was contented as long as she cared for him. He was willing to pay the price for his crime and leave afterwards with a clean soul and heart. He would finally be freed from his conscience.

"You don't have to thank me each time I come to visit -" she smiled. "- besides, I wanted to see you."

Samar felt a huge burden being lifted from his chest at her last statement. She wanted to see him! Freely and not obligated. "I missed you." He blurted out absentmindedly.
