Chapter Eighty-Five

On getting back home after Roshni's discharge from the hospital, I went straight to the nursery I prepared for our baby and started putting everything away, including the cradle. I felt myself becoming emotional again. Why did this have to happen? We arranged everything already, name, clothes, toys... Everything.

I made sure to clear every single thing that would remind Roshni of the baby out in a box. It would be terrible if she happened to walk into the room one day and gets reminded of what happened.

I went back into our room and met Roshni in bed. Immediately she saw me, she walked towards me and wrapped her arms around me.

"I want to get pregnant again," she whispered into my ears. I stiffed for a moment. She was just making a rash decision and it wasn't wise at all.
