Scott's POV

The doctors did not let me through the hospital room no matter how much I pleaded. I remained outside, pacing and panicking. I'd overreacted and I cursed myself for that.

I turned and found my dad and stepmom walking towards me. Before they could get to me, I walked hastily towards my dad, grabbed his collar and hit him hard against the wall.

"Are you happy now?!" I shouted as I gritted my teeth, "How do you feel making me do all of this, you bastard?!"

"Stop it, Scott!" cried Vivian, "He's your father!"

Calling this inhumane and selfish man my father only aggravated the anger I felt in my heart. I tightened my grip on his collar.

"I curse the day you became my father!" I said to his face but this man simply laughed and stared at me like all that anger meant nothing.

He said, "Do you not want to see your daughter and your dear Annabel again?"
